Better Spotlights [Reduced Cone Haze]

Description
This mod makes a number of improvements on spotlights, based on what exists in reality.

The hazy cone effect is reduced to more realistic level, and the light produced is cast farther than vanilla spotlights. In reality, the cone of light haze is an effect only seen in atmospheres and even reduced will be significant in fog. Most of the environments a space engineer will find themselves in won't do either. In space, or on the Moon, Mars, or Europa, there is little or no atmosphere to scatter or limit light. This version of the mod is for those who are playing on a planet of moon that has an atmosphere (or if they just prefer to have the cone effect for other reasons).

The lines in the light cast have been removed, because experiments with light show that they would not be visible beyond a few feet in front of the spotlight. In order for a shadow to be cast by objects in front of the light, much more of the light must be obscured. The glass guard that is supposed to create the lines doesn't block the central point of the light source in any significant way, and is therefore invisible at a distance from the spotlight itself.

why isn't there a mod that removed the grid lines on the spotlight. i only use the offset spotlight because the big one has those lines.

If you want a mod that only removes the haze then ...

My other mod is here and it removes the haze completely.

I'd love a mod that just removes the spotlight "cone" (haze, cone, fog, whatever)
Perhaps simpler even, should I be able to edit the mod myself to fully remove the cone instead of just making it lighter?

Should I use this mod as a replacement to your other Better Spotlights mod?

If you have used the original mod, then it shouldn't change at all. I've never noticed any performance drop and I tend to use a disturbing number of mods when I am in creative. I'm much more reserved in survival, so I have no idea what impact it may have on a huge ship in that environment.

Does this improve or decrease performance? I build VERY LARGE ships with lots of moving parts and PCU and push the limits most times and do not need further stress on the system.
