121,772 total pack tris
10,148 tris/prop avg

13,898 total LOD tris
1158 tris/LOD avg

1 texture set is shared between all assets for maximum efficiency. The metal structure does not lend itself well to tri conservation, so prop tri counts are relatively high.

Nerd Notes™
These are modern LED colorlight signals, often referred to as 'Vader signals' due to the distinctive look of their long snow hoods. Common in new signal installations throughout Canada and in the US outside of the Northeast Corridor, these particular models are displaying a Clear aspect, meaning trains can pass through at track speed, to avoid getting any of your cim engineers in any trouble.

Note that these signals are purely decorative, the aspect they display has no real impact on your trains in-game. However, to increase the variance of the signals and even make them display realistic aspects for your track layout and track speed, use this pack in conjunction with its modular addon pack, which can be used to create as many as hundreds of thousands of valid configurations for high-detail builds!

A big thanks to everyone who provided references and advice throughout the process, particularly to Ronyx69 for sharing his own asset files, without which this pack would not yet exist, and REV0 for answering my many Rwy Project questions and sharing the Rwy PSDs with me.

As always, if you like the pack don't forget to rate up and share!

Ah, didn't know that. I assumed you could set the prop up like a traffic light prop and it would function with TMPE lights the same way. Didn't think those relied on that mod to function at all.

All the same, I did have fun playing around with Adaptive Networks flags so I can swap between 4 variations of signals on the network I added them to.

As far as I know rail signals aren't linked to the traffic light shader in any way; those props only work because of that mod, which in turn only works on the two networks you mentioned. As I've said though, if a general solution does arise these will be updated to support it when I have time.

It might not be real-world accurate, but could you not give them the same textures and properties that traffic light props have? There are two rail networks with functioning props available by the author of that signaling mod, so it's possible to do.
Strategy Nerd  [author] 10 May, 2023 @ 9:00pm
Unfortunately not; due to how rail signals work there isn't a system set up that would make them function any more realistically than the static aspects do, really - It's been discussed with modders though so it could happen some time in the future, either here or in CSL2.

Would it be possible to get a prop set that can property function as traffic lights? Would be nice to see about added them to some networks and using them with TMPE lights, or the Block Signal mod.

If you're looking for the overhead gantries specifically I recommend placing by hand as they only appear in very specific cases; by default only the wayside versions will spawn at junctions.

sorry i try to use both TMPE or vanilla to assign the priority , no difference
not sure what is the problem , as the guy below work
thank you for your great work anyway
Strategy Nerd  [author] 13 Mar, 2023 @ 12:50am
As with vanilla, they only appear automatically at a junction when you use the vanilla priority tool on the given junction. My comment below from the 18th of January has a bit more info!

sorry if i am dumb , i also don't know why it does not used, railway replacer can see they are at the signal and gantry , can plop them as prop , but does not appear when build the railway, try intersect with the normal vehicle road , not there

vanilla railway not work

some standard railway i am using

As long as you're subscribed to them and have them enabled in your loading mods (LOT and LSM) they will show up. Were you searching in Find It, the Rwy Replacer UI, or elsewhere?
