Description
--What the mod Does--
This mod adds many unit variants and entirely new units to the Imperial Guard faction. I have tried to stay as close to the 8th edition codex as possible and where that was not possible take inspiration from the lore.

The mod currently has some unique visuals like icons, weapon firing effects and such, but I have not had time to learn to animate, model and texture (I do still hope to do this in the future). The mod has been playable for about 10 months at this point so I decided to just release what I have.

@Darth Porgus I just checked and I was able to spawn the Catachans from the debug menu and from the Imperial Barracks without any issues. When is your save file from? Between the 25th and 28th of June I had to do a lot of updates to fix an issue with the Renowned Regiments and that included renaming the research, so this may have broken older saves.

Bug report: We're crashing on a save and the crash log says that it didn't find the Cataham Jungle Fighter Unit. It says that unit does not exist.

Questions are welcome. :vulcansalute: I don't use any mods that change game balance in that way, so I cannot recommend any to you. If you want to produce buildings faster you can research and make a second construction building. If you want to produce units faster you can make multiples of their building in the same city, for instance if you want to go infantry heavy as Guards then you should build 3 Imperial Barracks.

If by CCO you mean Callipygian Complete Overhaul then no. I don't play with that mod and after skim reading the mod description it sounds like a total conversion mod. My mod is balanced primarily around the 8th edition codices and the vanilla game, so a total overhaul mod would not really make any sense to use with this mod.

If you want to see what mods I play with then check out the collection I have linked in this mod's description. I do plan on making compatibility mods for Gladius+ and Too Many Voices when I get the time.

Thank you for your message MainTerranGallian. The reason there is an incomplete entry for a Heavy Weapons Squad is because when I tried to give them other weapons it kept causing crashes, so those are currently a work in progress.

Notice that the Heavy Weapons Squad Lascannon doesn't have its own entry in the localization
