Building Cap Removal 3.6+

Description
3.6 Update. This version should work with the new traditions and ascensions in the 3.6 update, allow robot assembly plants to be upgraded and uncap some origin/civic variants.

Since it has been so long since the mod has been updated, I decided to create a new workshop entry. Unsubscribe to the previous version before attempting to use this version.

This mod removes the 1 per planet limit on 8 buildings, allowing you to fill a planet with these buildings. As a rule, these tweaks are made to allow specific civcs/authorities/ascenscion perks to get the most out of their unique buildings.

After all, why wouldn't a hive have multiple spawning pools?
Buildings changed:
  • Noble Estates
  • Cloning Labs
  • Progenitor Nest
  • Spawning Pools
  • Gene Clinics
  • Machine Assembly Plants
  • Robot Assembly Plants
  • Posthumous Employment Center
This mod is compatible with other mods that DO NOT change the above buildings. If another mod does change those buildings, then one of the two will overwrite the other, and either Building Cap Removal or the other mod will not work.

The extreme, all most buildings uncapped version will follow this, soon(tm).

Not surprising, since it's 7 versions out of date.

I'll take a look at updating it sometime soon.

This is kinda broken, it causes non-gestalt machine empire, like premade Sunbuilt Uplifters, unable to build even one Machine Assembly Plants.

is the extreme version going to include things like forge and factory buildings? Might it go a step further into planetary stock exchanges and ministries of production ??!!!

Thanks

@crow, the biological and mechanical pop assembly is still separate. All that this changes is the planet limit.

What happens if you build a cloning lab and a robot assembly plant on the same planet? Are they still mutually exclusive?

Just in case someone wonder, yes, this mod work for 3.7.x

For reference, the PDX launcher likes to declare mods out of date unless the version in the mod description file matches the current version. The mod may work perfectly fine and the launcher will complain, or break the game completely but slip past the launcher as the mod developer updated the version number. While it's a useful tool when bug fixing a broken modlist to report un-updated mods, it's not a strict warning.

A +1 version of the mod is something I'll consider in the future, recently I haven't played stellaris much except MP and with my work these days, I tend to spend my time playing games rather than writing mods and guides. When I get the urge to do more than maintenance, a +1 version is something I'll do (as well as the absurd uncapping mod).

It works fine, but is there a mod that just increases the cap of this by +1? Having unlimited pop assembly kind of breaks immersion
