There are no plans to continue support / update to new versions!
The source code was lost along with the damaged flash drive. I have stopped playing RimWorld for about half a year now, and at this point I do not have time to update my mods to new versions of the game, nor to continue ongoing support for modifications. I do not deny the future possibility of either updating my existing mods to new versions of the game, or creating complete reworkings of them, with improved quality. The mod pages will not be deleted. I will leave them for those who wish to update my mods for the current versions of the game on their own. I give my permission to update my mods, using my work as a basis, as long as the author of the original work is credited.

This mod allows you to change genes attributes. You can make any gene cost no metabolism, don't require archite capsules, or have no complexity.


Version 2.0 is out! Now mod have detailed settings, allowing you to change any gene individually!


Please note that the first time you start the game with this mod, you will be greeted with a dialog box. You will have to choose which genes you want to change. This is required! Otherwise, the mod won't work!.
Also, after you install new mods that add new genes, you'll have to go to mod options and change newly added genes (or you can change all genes using checkmarks below "restart" text, detailed below).


Any mod settings changes, requires full game restart!

Left column refers to the complexity, middle is the metabolism efficiency, right column is for archite capsules.
Making gene cost no archite capsules, makes it act like regular gene. (Can be extracted by Gene Extractor)

Buttons at the bottom left allow you to set the appropriate, icon, check mark for each gene. (aka: make every gene cost no complexity/metabolism/capsules and vice versa)

These buttons allow you to change all genes (like in the old version of the mod). First one makes each gene have 0 complexity, second one makes genes cost 0 metabolism, last one makes genes cost 0 archite capsules. These options overwrite custom options for genes. All new genes added by new mods will be affected by these options without your influence. (No need to go into mod options and change new genes)


Mod should work with all other mods that add custom genes.
(Tested with Alpha Genes, and Immortals Gene)
