Description
From the creator of Pomme and Terra, a brand new fighter joins Rivals of Aether! As the destined wielder of Mythos, Sora Toyukanboe has faced the darkness time and time again. She now seeks countless adventures across many worlds. As a fast, rushdown-oriented swordie, Sora aims to overwhelm her foes with blinding force.

Special Moves

Neutral Special - Mythos Toss

Sora tosses her blade, Mythos outward. Can be angled upward and downward. With the additional press of special, Mythos will create an Angelic Field. It will also create the Angelic Field after hitting the opponent.

When Sora passes into her Angelic Field, she gains angel wings that grant her one extra double jump. However, she will lose the angel wings when she is hit or when she lands.

Forward Special - Angelic Onslaught

Sora charges forth at blinding speed to strike five times. Will send her into pratfall afterward. If she makes contact with her Angelic Field during this move, she will consume it and follow up with an additional Angelic Onslaught or an Angelic Ascent if holding up. Shield can also be held to cancel into pratfall.

Up Special - Angelic Ascent

Sora ascends upward with a spinning strike multiple times. Will send her into pratfall afterward. If she makes contact with her Angelic Field during this move, she will consume it and follow up with an additional Angelic Ascent or an Angelic Onslaught if holding forward. Shield can also be held to cancel into pratfall.

Down Special - Swift Step

Sora performs an evasive maneuver followed by a retaliating strike. Upon contact with her Angelic Field, she will consume it and reposition it at her new location, also refreshing its lifetime.

I love this character but that side special is way, way too strong. The range on it is absolutely enormous and doesn't even leave her vulnerable; she covers half the stage or more in a lot of cases.

Other than that I feel like she has a lot of potential and I love her aesthetic; I'd absolutely love to use her as a workshop main but can't really justify it with how cheesy she can be.

A combo monster with a lot of potential if her main issues are fixed, i like this quite a lot. As many have said, side B feels lackluster, unreliable kill and combo option, most of the time gets you killed. Up B should link hits better and have a more horizontal KB angle. Air game feels horribly weak, most of her kills have to be done grounded.
Just some minor changes could make her an incredible rival.

Is the side special supposed to drop the opponent out of it mid-attack? Are me and my friend the only ones this is happening to? Every time my friend uses her against me, I just DI in and I'm fine and punish him. I saw no one else bring it up so I'm not sure.

This character is pretty nuts. High speed, acceleration, and gravity makes her feel a bit like a rubber-band. It's interesting, and I can tell she's really good.

But that down-strong... why can you tech out of the down-strong? It makes no sense, considering it appears to be a multi-hit.

-FStrong should still have a dash momentum trait where you can slide as you charge, this can come in handy with spacing if you get worried!
-150 BTW isn't as accurate, her up strong can securely finish a heavy like Exetior at around 140 or slightly less off the top
-A strong aerial and a spike along with killing much sooner would probably break any semblance of balance lol
-She's less air focused IMHO and more ground focused, her gimmick caters more to setups from my experience, and usually ending both her and her opponent's stocks, if not the prior tip on how to effectively recover, as you lose nothing in having a field out whenever you can
