Description
I am not the original developer of the mod, The credit goes to, Honshitsu, RedFrog and Pagan.
Having said that I am taking the mod development for now, the code will be available and free for download on my github. https://github.com/Verakum/RWAutodrillRemastered

Mod Version v1.0.2
- Added the option to enable or disable if infestations can spawn from these drills.
- Added all the drills configurations to a settings menu.
- Added the setting to allow the display of found minerals when selecting the drill.
- Changed the mod so that it doesn't try to mine other type of minerals that are not of "thingCategory" ResourceRaw. Mainly to avoid issues with Mod Vanilla Helixien Gas Expanded.

Automated drills!

Speed based on a lv10 miner.
Output yield scales with vanilla difficulty.

Basic AutoDrill
- standard size bore (2 radius, 3x3)
- average drill cycle of 5.5 hours
- 80% deposit consumption
- 80% resource output
- Can create infestations.

Giant AutoDrill
- wide bore (4 radius)
- average drill cycle of 7 hours
- high yield, more resources
- low efficiency which depletes deposits more quickly
- extract multiple stone chunks, an average of three and a half (3.5) per cycle
- 300% deposit consumption
- 200% resource output
- Can create infestations.

Smart AutoDrill
- small bore (0.5 radius, 1x1)
- average drill cycle of 12 hours
- hyper-efficient
- Can't cause infestation
- Can't extract stone chunks
- 30% deposit consumption
- 100% resource output

When trying to adjust the slider in the drill settings for giant autodrill, it moves basic autodrill instead

Good, the update shouldn't break the game save. let me know if anything happens though.

After I put the "new" mod approximately where the "old" one was in my load order, it didn't break my save, for which I am grateful.

when i loaded the game, i was surprised that my previous save didnt have the autodrills and here i came to inspect the reason.
now the question is, will it break my save after adding. wish me luck

OK I just uploaded the latest version, I renamed the mod and dis some code changes and such. please let me know.

There are some other updates I am thinking exploring like adding the "walkable" smart turret.

If you mean can they spawn on top of other deposits? I don't believe they can.

Hello Guys, I am in the middle of testing an update on the mod.

1.- I am adding ALL parameters to a settings window to be changed on demand.
2.- I am adding a toggle for infestation creation for the drills as requested by @Asteyr.
3.- I am adding the automatic overlay of resources even when not using the scanner, it would be a nice Quality of life, maybe I will have it behind a "research"


@FlareFluffsune I am investigating the issue, this is a modded "resource" that is also part of deep resource category. so I would need to test this use case. do you know if the resources can overlap?
