Seeing as I have had my hand forced to by people with small mental faculties I will edit this review with a preface: If you're going to post a comment have the decency to read the review or at least read a study into how Microtransations are nothing but negative both financially and psychologically. This isn't about 'homg learn 2 spend right' MTx are designed physically to psychologically wear on players mental well-being and taking advantage of players with a weaker mental self-control.

By simply relegating this down to 'spend better' you give developers an out for taking advantage of manipulative practices that do in fact have a determent to game-play as they are encouraged to hold back as much as possible behind a pay wall while drip feeding a few things here and there (Eg your Exo Platform people so diligently grind for.) And whether you like it or not they've taken advantage of your own mentality by successfully getting you to purchase these 'Microtransactions' simply for the superiority complex a few people commenting here have shown.

So from here on I am just going to delete these comments. Also thank you for the rewards, you're very kind.

Original Review below

I recently came back to the game after about a year and a bit to see whats been added now it came out of Beta and is considered fully released. I've played a lot of it yes and I enjoyed it, that was before 1.0 release.

Now they've added a MTx store with a premium currency you need to buy instead of just providing DLC packs which i could agree more with. There are people who struggle with MTx unable to hold themselves back and easily manipulated into buying MTx because that's simply how their mind works. I'm one of those people, I cannot play games with a cash shop simply because I cannot physically hold back on buying MTx in a game, physically difficult and its hard to describe this mental space when you don't experience it yourself.

As such I can't recommend this game now, especially if you're someone who is easily pressured into buying MTx and I'm not sure I am going to be playing this game any more very much.

I added this part as it was too long for my comment section:

While I understand a game needs income to continue development releasing DLC packs I believe is a more agreeable way to continue to monetise. Releasing a MTx shop in a Premium game you've paid for already and then selling a single skin for $10 really isn't agreeable and is simply despicable at that point. I could agree on a Skin being $10 if it came with additional cosmetics maybe unique animations/emotes, attachments, designs etc for that skin but simply a .PNG file overlayed on a mesh skeleton for $10 is unacceptable.

There is also the predatory aspect of a MTx shop which such a shop was simply designed to be, in any game. Buy X amount of Premium currency and get X free is a tactic used commonly to get you to spend money believing you're getting more for your money when you in fact are not as that extra 100 premium currency isn't going to get your anything remarkable and will sit there taunting you unable to actually buy anything.

MTx are designed to be a mental wear on those people who do have problems controlling their spending to the prices of the items often being a single penny of premium currency short of being able to buy it causing the need to buy into the same predatory "Buy X for £X" instead of buy this item for £X as the intermediary currency, being the premium currency, is there to direct your attention away from how much you truly are spending.
