Overview

This mod is a collection of small, vanilla-consistent tweaks suited to any type of playthrough. This mod is 100% configurable, so ANY feature can be toggled based on your preferences.

Compatibility

This mod adds a few new building blocks used by Remnants in its world generation, so it naturally requires this mod to also be installed.

Progression Break with Calamity and the Hell Cages structure/feature:

Minor Issue

Launch Terraria with Calamity and Wombat's General Improvements
Progress until Goblin Army (200hp, pre-boss)
Locate the Goblin Tinkerer
Buy 500 Spiky Balls
Navigate to the Underworld
Obtain 80 Spikes from the Hell Cages structures
Craft the Metal Monstrocity Weapon

This causes a progression break, allowing the player to obtain a post-skeletron weapon, pre-boss

Suggestion:
Add 'Brittle Spikes' Tile, which does not drop the spike item upon destruction

Although I don't fully agree with you, I do respect your decision. The removal of the luck factor from niche items just makes it so people are less likely to utilize them. I consider Harpy Wings to be niche because there are other hardmode wings with the same performance but are much more consistent to obtain - Frost Wings and Fairy Wings. Even after the recipe changes, Fairy Wings are still easier to obtain than Harpy Wings. All this does is remove the significance of lucky Giant Feather drops you get every once in a while which entices people to use the Harpy Wings in the first place.

Aside from that, please don't take this as a personal attack nor am I pressuring you to make the changes I suggested, it is your mod at the end of the day. I appreciate and respect that you take the time out of your day to develop this mod for the community for nothing in exchange. The majority of the features your mod offers are amazing, especially the fireflies in the Underground Jungle.

what a ridiculous suggestion. the entire point of this feature is to help eliminate RNG from grinding, NOT to make it inherently easier. you are not being 'penalised', you are playing the game with better consistency
