Description


This mod contains several useful items that can make the life of your colonists much easier and more enjoyable.

To be honest, I borrowed many of the ideas from other mods that I once found, but I think there are enough changes in this build to post them separately.
Many thanks to jaeger972, Simmin and Mr Whiskas for their amazing work

Also recommend to use this mods to make everything work as expected:

NOTE: This mod is not associated with Vanilla Expanded, it is not made by Vanilla Expanded and it is not endorsed by Vanilla Expanded. The design of this mod looks like it looks, because I wanted to do everything in the same style.

Love the mod, great art work and nicely themed around vanilla. Love any mod that feels like it already is vanilla by looks and function, great job!

Found a bug: the bags do not give any carry capacity, only a drawback to move speed. Adding carrying capacity to a hauler is not a vanilla thing. It is only a displayed stat that by vanilla means can not be changed besides changing body size and manipulation.

The way Vanilla Expanded does it with their backpack is by using Vanilla Expanded Framework, more specifically "VEF_MassCarryCapacity" instead of "CarryingCapacity" that you have used.

If you change it in the equippedStatsOffset - as well as add Vanilla Expanded Framework as a dependency it should all work as intended.

I took the liberty to write out the changes needed in the defs, hope you don't mind:

Small backpack
<CarryingCapacity>75</CarryingCapacity>
to
<VEF_MassCarryCapacity>75</VEF_MassCarryCapacity>

Large backpack
<CarryingCapacity>150</CarryingCapacity>
to
<VEF_MassCarryCapacity>150</VEF_MassCarryCapacity>

For some reason; I can't craft the Stone Borer. It says I need steel and chemfuel, but I have 1000+ of each. I can craft every other tool, but not the Stone Borer. My crafter is skilled to 7 so I think this may be a bug...

Hey, Cserszegi, as far as I see there are a lot of mods that somehow refer to VE in thair design.
Also if you will check description of this mod you'll find a NOTE block that explain my position.
