That's what I've found so far, but this could all be problems purely unique to my machine, so this might be just me having dun goofed some how.
Certain TFA melee weapons - namely, the KF2 melees and the baseball bats - don't deal damage towards most of the enemies in the pack, even if the hits register. The only exceptions I've found so far are the Corpser Hatchling, Sire, and likely the Tickers. Those exceptions do take damage and do die from being stabbed, slashed, crushed, etc.
Weirdly enough, the only weapon to properly deal damage is the Eviscerator, but that's probably because it doesn't use the more complex functions of the TFA Base. The same goes for other TFA melees like the NMRIH ones - their hits register and deal damage properly.
