If anyone is wondering, this and the other Stargate mods can be used just fine for 1.5 even. Only thing i noticed is that it causes issues with the dev console not opening, i didn't test for longer before attempting my fixes.
If you want to be safe and play with this mod, the fix is to just remove any call to the non-functional Tools dependency, you don't really need any of that code for the rest to be usable. These are a few lines in the Def files in the mod folder, just remove these blocks from the code.
You will lack some of the advanced functionality, but all weapons and armor still work just fine for normal play.
