Safehouse Kavala

Description
Fight your way through endless waves and secure the safehouse! This procedurally generated game mode delivers intense close quarters fights against an overwhelming enemy presence. Keep moving! If you get bogged down, you're already dead.

Features
  • Wave survival with a twist! Fight through six waves of increasing enemy numbers, who will not stop coming and hunt you down mercilessly.
  • Keep on the move! Only once you've reached the safehouse enemies will stop spawning in. Keep heading towards that safehouse through back alleys and buildings, disengage from enemy contact as much as possible and use CQB tactics and quick movement in order to reach the safehouse.
  • Eliminate the enemy! Once you've secured the safehouse the enemies will stop spawning. Kill the remaining forces to advance a round.
  • Spectator mode! If you die within an active round you will be able to spectate your team mates. Once the round is over you will respawn and all remaining players will be healed.
  • Arsenal and unlocks! For each round you win you will unlock more gear to use against the hordes of enemies. You have two minutes in between rounds to set up your loadout.
  • No two playthroughs are the same! Each round and each game the safehouse location will be randomly chosen within the AO. Sometimes it will spawn across the street, sometimes it will spawn across the city.
  • No mods required! Although ACE, RHS, ACRE and BAF are supported, none of it is needed to play.
  • Easily editable! Set up your own unlocks and restrictions by editing the wave sqf files inside the mission folder or port the mission to any map simply by copying all the markers of the original mission to a different map.

Supported Mods

Tested with ACE, ACRE, Enhanced Movement and 3CB BAF. You can easily add more mods or different maps by editing the wave sqf scripts or copying the pbo contents into a scenario on the map of your choice.

this scenario need some updating cause any editing i do to the files it wont stick and theres a lot of errors on lines, surprised it still works

Hey there John "Soap" MacTavish, I'm gonna release a version with randomized weapons soon and it's playing in Pyrgos. If you want to, you can easily port the mission onto any map or location you want. Just open it in the editor and drag everything from Kavala on top of a different town.

SauravX: Yes, you can play it solo, but you will have to host your own local server. Just hit multiplayer and then create a server, choose the mission and play. May be pretty unforgiving, though.

Forsteamarma3: I like that idea! For now I'm working on a different version of safehouse where you get to pick between three randomly selected weapons each round, the chance of getting bigger and better guns getting higher with each wave. May look into different missions afterwards.

Would it be possible to add different wave missions? Like, survival waves then maybe a C4 wave where we have to destroy a building? Kind of like Rush in Battlefield.

FlashMuffin: Open up the map in the editor, and while on the map screen copy all the elements in Kavala (including the marker). Now open a new map, paste them in and save it. Afterwards copy over all the scripts from the mission to your new mission folder. Should work out of the box, but it's adviced you pick an area with lots of enterable buildings.
