More New Human Clothes

Deskripsi
Description:
This mod increases the variety of cloths for POPs and leaders of your human population based on factors like jobs, government, ethics and so on.

For example: In the vanilla version of the game POPs from the worker- and ruler-strata use only the clothes of the admiral. This mod increases the variety and optimizes the distribution of cloths to something that fits their respective job as well as the empire itself.

Compatibility:
At the current state this mod can be used with the newly refurbished human-portraits (after version 3.4, not the ones with cyborg-components). It only effects the clothing of them. So it can be used with other mods. Its position in the load order is irrelevant. Mods that change the appearance of the 'new humans' might be a problem - most likely clipping issues. Current and future versions of this mod are compatible with your savegames and...

IT IS IRONMAN-COMPATIBLE!!!

Current state:
This mod is in a nearly finished stage. This means it can be used without problems, but I will most likely still try to add or optimize stuff. Future updates won't cause any problems. As of mid September 2024 I'm once again fully committed to my mod and I'm slowly but steadily expanding its content, adding additional clothes and converting existing clothes form the original version of this mod.

Certain clothes still require a personal touch to stop clipping issues. This is in the works

Future plans:
As mentioned before I want to expand the variables of cloth distribution, try to convert old cloth elements and so on. But don't worry. All my changes and extensions won't have an impact on your saves of already running games.

Credits:
This is a list of the other mods from that I took parts and elements over the years which
made me able to create and improve my own mods, so considerable credits should go to them
too:

I've fixed that issue in my mod, again, by all means feel free to have a look at my coding, use the new human female mesh that has the back part of the hair in front so it works with helmets, any of the clothes I made, etc.

Yep, its the human hair text file. It basically distributes the assets based on different properties, just like the clothe files. So I tried to do something similar in the past because it would look strange if a farmer appears with a military grade helmet but I was never able to run it properly.

Is it the hair issue? Cause my mod did the issue with female human hair being impossible to use as the slot for helmets

@Ness Scissors
The content of your mod is quite respectable - no question. And I even see one or two elements that I could use. I'm looking forward to its future development. Unfortunately, I can't do anything with the helmets. I wanted to do something similar myself in the past, but the file for it always had its pitfalls. That's why I probably won't do anything in that direction.

Specifically the armor and helmets I'm quite proud of. The trek-like clothes and the star wars imperial-like clothes I could live without, there are better alternatives for those kinds of aesthetics already included in this mod.

I made these basically from scratch, and I'm quite proud of them.

I'd be quite honoured and chuffed if you included any or all of them in this human clothes modpack, especially considering it would mean I could just enjoy your mod instead lol

@tilarium
Thank you very much. I will continue working on it. Right now I'm aiming on optimization and tidying up a bit. Further sets of POPs are near finished and the next big update should be near the end of this week.

@Ratzfatz Loving the new clothing options you've been adding. You are on fire!

@Dip62
Thanks for the praise. The 'lacking' quality of the converted assets is something that I'm already painfully aware of. The files for the 'new humans' are larger and wider which forces me to stretch the clothes which further impacts their quality negatively. I'm in the process of tidying things up which should be accomplished by the end of this week. I will most likely keep the old assets for the pop jobs (due to their smaller portrait so the lower quality is not that noticeable) while using the original and higher quality ones for the leaders.

Brilliant mod. The lack of clothing for the new portraits was really disappointing, and this fixes that!

I will say that the default authoritarian governor outfit (greyish version of the old general uniform with shoulder boards and a new necklace) seems to clash with the high quality of the other outfits, (I'd imagine this is just due to it being based off of such an old asset). Should you ever see your way clear to reverting this to the current Paradox outfit or allowing some sort of choice, you'll definitely be on my Christmas card list.

Keep up the amazing work!
