Important: If you like explosive physics in your space engineering sandbox game that prides itself in physics. Please be sure to upvote this. Keen has released a "warfare" update where the missiles/rockets don't create shockwaves when they explode. Everything just gently falls into place.

This mod will change the vanilla weapons and their tracers. Weapons like the gatling and auto cannon will now pack a punch against humanoid targets instead of them flopping over. Weapons like the artillery and assault cannon will now have a AOE damage radius. Now that new artillery weapon won't be a over glorified sniper rifle. The railgun has a smaller AOE of damage. Should make vanilla combat more fun especially if you like shelling the enemy with artillery.

I made this mod after being disappointed with the new vanilla weapons and how they all pretty much were all just railguns. That even a artillery weapon needed to hit someone EXACTLY to do damage even though they play a explosion effect.

Nvm, I just read about that penetration-explosive projectile bug from Const on the page of his rework that any damaged blocks are always completely destroyed.

I really like this mod, the tracers as well as adding AOE to the new guns is really a welcome and indeed desperately needed change and has potential for a lot of fun.

One thing I noticed is that the artillery sometimes behaves like vanilla if the projectile hits an armor wall at an 90° angle, i.e. it pierces straight through (e.g. 2 heavy armor blocks). Hitting at a narrower angle however destroys much more blocks in an AOE fashion (a lucky hit destroyed 7 heavy armor blocks, 6 of them on the surface layer).
Is this intended or just a weird bug I am experiencing?

Another question, as I did scroll through the modded ammos.sbc file, does this increase pistol and rifle caliber damage to characters?

i doubt it would be, WC itself changes a lot of physics actions and damage shapes, most vanilla weapon overhauls wont work with WC.
