Description
CA UPDATED TRAITS FOR IMMORTAL EMPIRES, SO THIS MOD WILL NO LONGER BE UPDATED

MOD GOAL:

To bring all shared generic starting traits up to WH2 standard and enhance their usefulness.

MOD Description:

Simply adjusts the values for the generic starting traits for all factions to what they were in WH2, as well as including minor buffs to most traits to hopefully reduce players desire to "trait farm"

ALL FACTIONS
Aggressive
o +5% Charge Bonus (for Army)

Confident
o +5 Public Order

Cunning
o Character gains Stalk attribute

Determined
o -15% all attrition (for Army)

Intelligent
o -10% Building Cost (Province-wide)

Knowledgeable
o +10% Research Rate

Perceptive
o +15% Ancillary steal chance

Strategist
o -5% Upkeep (for Army)

Tactician
o +5% Speed (for Army)

Tough
o +5% Health

Weapon Master
o +5 Melee Defense


Feel free to suggest changes if you feel a trait is now overpowered or still underpowered.

Undead and demonic characters should not be able to get the Determined trait. This is because Immunity to Psychology as no effect on them because they are immune to fear and terror. The other aspect of the trait, +3 leadership, is never worth having compared to other traits.

Strategist should keep the campaign movement range but apply to all units in the army. In the current vanilla game, as was the case in WH2, the +5% movement range only applied to the character, meaning that it has absolutely no effect when the army a hero is embedded into.

Now that IE released CA finally updated these old traits and so I imagine this Mod wont be needed anymore. But I'll keep it up for people who want to use it for whatever reason.

Well they changed knowledgeable to 15% exp gain, could be more traits they changed. So does this need an update for IE?

I 'updated' the Mod, but for future reference it doesn't need 'updating' as it will be compatible with any WH3 updates until CA actually changes these generic traits themselves back to the WH2 standards

@Stimulacrum Thanks for the heads up, changed it and it now effects all units in army properly for hero's

@Doomed World I thought about it, but the other comment pointed out someone already released a mod that enhances the unique traits, both these mods are compatible and work together.

Some of the traits have "Lord's army" when on heroes, which means those effects don't actually do anything when the hero embeds into an army.
