Description
So I noticed that most NPC mods lacked of real Rovers with real abilities. Therefore I made my little mod.
Then I noticed that most NPC mods were easy. So I made hell to myself.
Extensively tested, I want you to piss blood.


CHAT COMMAND : /MES.Info.GetThreatScore Will give you the current difficulty score you have : < 400 easy, < 1000 medium, > 1000 hard

Feel free to send me ships or vehicles (fighters mainly) that you made, are nice, and that you would like to fight against ;)

This mod will add several AI vehicles and crafts to the game, when on planet WITH atmosphere.
You NEED to note that it is a hard mod. You'll get to bury yourself in the ground or most likely die.
This mod is made for people who like tank gameplay more than mining, though not incompatible.

START YOUR GAME IN A RELATIVELY FLAT AREA (At least 5 km around you), does not mean Pertam Desert, but not too much of rocky stuff or tanks will simply get upside down.
You don't need for anything but your engineer, a Medbay will be airdrop to you at the beginning of your game. Join its faction (LCA) It is ♥♥♥♥♥♥, badly built, completely unpractical. Perfect to start with :)

Vehicles content (Not everything on pics):

- EV Prospect vehicle : little scout vehicle, not gunned. Will flee when sees you. Carries some few ingots, important for starting the game.
- TVT Transport vehicle : your best chance, gunned. It's a big truck with lot of loot inside.
- CV-01 : Small armored car with both MG and missile variants.
- CV-11 : Real IFV with MG and Missile variant.
- CV-71 Panda : Heavily gunned transport, like the TVT but more nervous.
- CV-72 Charbon : A real tank for real tankists.
- AVB-Scorpion : Giant Rover with lot of loot. Will try to escape if approached, heavily gunned.
- T-11 Turret : Static turret with assault canon.
- MCL Container : lootable container, well protected.

Aircaft content (Not everything on pics) :

- EV-21 aircraft : Small fighter with MG.
- EV-41 aircraft : Scout fighter with MG.
- CV-51 aircraft : Armored version of EV-41 with MG and missiles (3 km range)
- CVAT-23 fighter : Military grade fighter, with MG and missiles (3 km range)
- EV-91S fighter bomber : Military grade F/B, MG, missiles, 30 mm turrets.
- CV-31 Heavy drone : Large grid, heavy drone with PDC.
- CV-51 Heavy bomber : Large grid, heavy bomber with 4 185mm PDC. (Extremely deadly)
- CV-52 Heavy bomber : Same as above with a shield.
- CV-72 Air Cruiser : If you see it it's time for you to leave the area. Basically a monster with more armor and weapons than you.


Station content (Not everything on pics) :

- Mining Tower
- Tank Depot (FPS area)


Gameplay loops :

- Difficulty is entirely scaled to the size of your base. You can use the ingame command /MES.Info.GetThreatScore to get an idea of where you are. Below 400 is "easy", Below 1000 is Medium, Above will be hell.

- Note that difficulty rises very quickly if you build a big powerplant like a big reactor.

- Gameplaywise : plan everything you want, your ingame goal on this one : develop, and leave the planet (With a big, very big ship so you get maximum pressure while building it)

- Lootable vehicles (EVT Prospect, CV-71 Panda, MCL Container and TVT Transports), with nice ingots for planetary use. A nice gameplay is to rely mostly on scavenging them instead of mining rare ores.

- TANKS. Yes. Well, kinda. They will hunt you. They will roll over you. They will eat your women and rape your sheeps.
- Air support : Relatively easy and manageable at the beginning, tough armored giant bastards with shields at the end. (Nearly impossible to take one down, which is why you want to bury yourself)

- I suggest you to avoid using too big weaponry, Lynx Weaponry being needed, limit yourself to the PDCs.
Welp, that's kinda all. Again, this mod is made for people who desire a bit of a different approach ingame, and who seek for nice little challenges. (It's not crazy nor revolutionnary, simply brings challenge to people like me who get past the 1000 h...)

- Lynx Weaponry (for them... And for you mostly XD)
- Northwind Weapons
- Defense Shields - V2.0
- Armor ramp compendium (For the EV-91S - the nice looking brilliantly designed by myself fighter on the right on the pic)
- Deuterium Fusion reactor (Same)

The defense shields dependency on this mod needs to be updated, at this time it will cause a dual load with defense shields and defense shields retired breaking the weapons core suite.

I take that back . . . none of the vehicles DO anything and usually end up finding the ONLY hole in the plain or try to climb the only mountain in view. The tanks just sit there in a pile or, most usually, upside down. I took it off my mod list because it just kills my game by leaving so much scrap around. Great idea but too much bother.

Best for open flat areas. If you want spare parts delivered then set up at the bottom of a ravine and wait for delivery.

They stopped spawning on my server, I'm curious if there's a command or similar to force them to start spawning again.

Likewise, could they be made to spawn in on other planets?

Since they are dependencies they automatically download even if I only download this mod for my server.

@Sir Connery : you don't necessarily need those two ones. It's only for one craft. Though I would suggest using them particularily the deuterium as you'll need a shield for your base in order to survive later stages.

If only this didn't contain other mods it would be an instant addition for my server. I can deal with additional weaponcore mods but Armor Ramps and Deuterium Reactors? C'mon I have almost a 100 mods already. I don't need new blocks.

So i was playing in space and for some reason the mining tower and tank depot spawned in space?

maybe their grouping were messed up in MES?
