Introduction:

610 AD

From the sands of Egypt and Arabia, the Byzantines rule strong and proud. An injustice, however, remains present at large. We men of Eranshahr, a proud people, resilient, boastful and strong cannot remain quiet. Ever since the days of Alexander, people from the Roman Empire have come to us. Generals, diplomats, soldiers, and their ilk. The Greeks once held us as slaves after destroying our great predecessor’s empire. The Empire that Cyrus the Great created. Now I, Khosrow, aim to end the rule of Roman Rule in Asia Minor. We shall march to the Gates of Constantinople and make the Romans rue the day they sacked Ctesphion and to the Greeks, for sacking Persepolis! The Holiest of all Cities in Eranshahr. We are not quiet, but when we are provoked, we shall strike! Let the Romans know the wrath of Eranshahr!

The Romans are weak and undivided, no doubt that their latter portion is now gone and is ruled by stinking barbarians. Emperor Heraclius seems to be a competent emperor, but he is foolhardy. He cannot sustain his rule forever. We have many Roman nobles on our side. Now is the time. Now is the time to restore the Empire of my ancestor, Cyrus the Great. Now is the time to rule Rome like never before. To go to Constantinople, and then to Rome! To spread the world of Eranshahr’s glory! Let history be rewritten, for I seek a correction in the anals of history. Let this world know of Eranshahr.

This is a historically authentic mod. It is not accurate but a more authentic experience in terms of some units. Various liberties have been taken with regards to historical accuracy in terms of rosters. Enjoy!

That's it!

New Units:

- Military units for Major factions are redone, new abilities and new uniforms
- Major rework was done for cavalry units belonging to the Sassanid Empire and Nomadic Faction. Roman cavalry has been overhauled to be more powerful.
- Vikings added double axe units making them excellent in melee combat, are vulnerable to missile units so PROTECT them at all costs!
- Flamethrower ships were added and modified, Vikings also have numerous numbers on ships to sack port cities.

UNITS UPGRADE AND GARRISONS:
- Most factions no longer needed to upgrade units except for generals some naval units. You can access armies as you wish.
- When you upgrade military buildings you get access to more powerful units, reducing the need for tech to upgrade units.
- You can fortify cities, and cities won't turn to become impossible fortresses to besiege for that matter.

UNIQUE BUILDINGS AND ECONOMY AND SANITATION:
  • Arab Buildings have special religious buildings such as Kaaba - provides benefits, public order, and unit keep improves cleanliness and sanitation.
  • Countless Factions have other similar building styles.
  • Sassanid Empire has access to the Shahenshah Treasury which provides good economic benefits.
  • Romans have the Imperial Treasury which although not unique allows the player to benefit more. Running an Empire requires some effort!
  • Earn more food/money from agricultural buildings and industrial buildings. Take care of sanitation levels for the plague of Justinian is implemented so be careful! Don't worry as I have changed sanitation buildings for all factions so you are not only able to clean your province but you able to affect your adjacent province and at the same time fight back against climate change in the game and keep your grain field operational until the end of the game. Some buildings will help you to decrease corruption in your lands, it's key to keep this building in order to keep your economy going and make a more powerful army.

NEW ARTILLERY AND GRENADE UNITS:
so i have made some artillery units for sassanid and roman factions like oil thrower with large onager or some flamethrower with charioballista , fire flame projectile to the enemy and inflect devastating blow to the enemy , in sassanid units some cavalry and elephants and foot units also using grenade and one of the frankish units use molotove grenade thats different with sassanid grenade ,frankish molotove grenade just burn down enemy units in short range and for slavics one of their units use poison grenade , in this one enemy units will infected with poison in short range and start attrition just like poison arrow in more devastation way .

i only used amour shield weapons and unit cards that it , i have made all units by my self no units added from any other mods so any similarities is accident.

UPDATE: i have updated my mod and changed somethings that this might help you to have easier campaign , first i have removed poison arrow for all persian units ,second i have reduced settlement (major and minor) building time ,not all building only cities primary buildings , and last change ,i have increased religion buildings public order and religion conversion ,so you can stabilize your region faster and build your empire in shorter time,thats it i hope you enjoy.

Dude, I'm begging you. Make a sub-mod to remove the poisoned arrows. I'm losing battles in 2 minutes from these things. It is insanely frustrating playing like this.

These are the only mods loaded but I CTD when i try to start a campaign
