Description
Do you constantly break your vehicle components and can't find replacements or repairing them never makes them good as new? Viperel has got you covered with realistic recipes for crafting new vehicle parts.


Best used in conjunction with my other mod Viperel's Recycling Center . I also recommend using it along Vehicle Repair Overhaul .
  • Craftable items include hoods, trunk lids, gas tanks, car seats, suspensions, mufflers and brakes. You can even craft new car windows and windshields with [Viperel's Recycling Center].
  • The mod also includes fixing recipes for tires and car batteries (higher skill leads to better repair). Tires WILL require to be inflated after mounting, with a Tire Pump.
  • All recipes can be performed using items from the floor or nearby containers, making the repair process more convenient.

To determine the type of item variant (old, regular, performance), your Mechanical skill level is important. Specifically, if your level is between 3 and 5, you can craft the old variant, if it's between 6 and 8, you can craft the regular variant, and if it's 9 or 10, you can craft the performance variant. This approach was implemented to ensure that advanced parts are only available to those with the required skill level, while still allowing any item to be crafted.

In most recipes, the condition of the parts is influenced by both your Metalworking and Mechanical skills. To achieve the best quality, it is recommended that you upgrade your skills. If you only meet the minimum skill requirements (e.g., level 4 in metalworking and level 1 in mechanical), you can craft the parts, but not at full condition. Only when you reach level 7 or higher in both professions can you guarantee that the parts will be at 100% condition.

Will not interfere with other mods and it's MP compatible (tested on v41.78).
Can be safely added/removed to/from an existing save!

Includes patch for APOCALYPSE MACHINES 2 WHEELZ if needed.

After the Dame library mode came out, is this mode now incompatible with the k15 mode?

@Zanx you might be mixing up standard/sport/heavy-duty with old/regular/performance. The former is about the type of car you can use it in, and the latter is about how good the part is.

I have this problem where standard, sport and heavy parts all require the same Skill level, which ruins balance completely, read in disc they had different requirements :O

not sure if the tire repair was from this mod but when i took apart a tire and repaired and put it back together it turned into a ford tire that cant be installed back into my truck.

Would it be possible for you to grant permission for me to use this mod in a custom modpack for my dedicated server? i would only be overwriting the recipes; specifically the dismantling of watches and accessories for scrap - aka you're mod would still be a requirement.

When I try to make a car window the only things listed that i need is an ice pick and a scalpel, no other materials are listed and I cannot craft it. Am I doing anything wrong?

All the other recipes actually have material requirements, like a lid using rods, scrap, sheets, etc. Just not the car windshields.
