Extended Bioengineering for VFE Insectoids

Description
Craftable genomes, buildable incubators, and more!

Extended Bioengineering aims to add more mechanics and features to the bioengineering system introduced by VFE Insectoids.

This mod is currently receiving active updates! More features are planned for the near future.

Currently, EB adds recipes that allow you craft your own genomes, research projects to build previously quest- or trade-exclusive buildings, and a few extra buildings to use in your scientific journey!

To get started, you'll first need to obtain the Insectoid Genetics Lab, either through trading or by completing quests. The lab, when connected to your High-tech Research Bench, will grant you access to all of the bioengineering research projects. Once you have the lab, you'll be able to research its recipe and build it whenever you want.

The lab also has a second purpose. You can use the Autopsy Table to dissect dead insectoids, which will occasionally yield tissue samples. By providing neutroamine to the lab, you can extract usable genomes from these tissue samples. The genome produced is random, but certain insectoids have a higher chance of producing certain genomes.

EB also makes the Sonic Infestation Repeller and Bioengineering Incubator buildable, and adds a "makeshift" version of the incubator that serves as a low-tech intermediary.

A new building has been added, the Sonic Infestation Inducer. The inducer must remain powered for ten days to charge its capacitors. Once the charge is ready, the inducer can be fired to instantly trigger an infestation, as long as it is on a map where an infestation can occur.

Additionally, the new Jelly Synthesizer will allow you to produce insect jellies from your excess genomes.

@Turnovus, so can we make our on controllable insect queens or is that still a no go?

VFE Insectoids adds the insect-creation tech, this mod just makes the required genomes more accessible.

This mod allows you to extract the genomes to create all of the vat-grown insectoids included in VFEI, and has an included patch to produce black hive genomes from Alpha Animals. No other insectoids are supported at this time.

What kind of insects can we make?

@Velxra
The idea is that you can either get it from trading or as a quest reward, or do a bunch of research to unlock it independent of RNG. The new research tree requires you to own one, but you don't need to be able to build it yourself.

ah, ok strange that I can build it without the research though.

You need to complete the insectoid anatomy research project in order to use the laboratory. Butcher insects on the autopsy table to collect tissue samples, then process the samples at the lab.

so when I try to create a bill using the insectoid genetics laboratory the bills just shows (none)
