Death Counter

Works in single-player and multiplayer (including dedicated server).

This mod adds a new entry to the Scripts section of all LCDs called "Death Count." Setting an LCD to Death Count will show the number of times each player has died in the game. This number persists across sessions. The display only shows online players.

When a player dies, any LCD displaying the Death Count will be updated. A chat message is sent announcing the player's death (and their current count), and a notification is displayed. These can each be individually enabled or disabled in the configuration.

Works out of the box, but there are a few optional configuration choices.

Default: false
When enabled, player deaths are announced on screen.

Default: true
When enabled, player deaths are announced in chat.

Default: true
When enabled, offline player death counts are displayed. Otherwise, player death counts are only displayed for connected players.

Default: 20,160 (minutes) Two weeks
By default, players that have not connected in two weeks* (real-time) are purged from the player list. When a player is purged, it means their counter will be reset when they finally rejoin the server. This duration can be altered or disabled in the configuration. Low population servers, and private servers such as YouTube streamers, can set a duration of -1 to disable purging completely. Single player games never conduct a purge.

* Note, this does not discount time the game is not running for, so if you have a purge duration of 3 days and you shut down your game for a week, then every player will be purged from the death counter.
