Description
The mason knights are at the final stages of their dark ritual at the ancestral tree in the centre of Hordeville. Only one ingredient remains to summon the horde, the blood of a king! Sacrifice the steward king Feydrid and steel yourselves for battle against the ravenous horde.

To play offline, solo / to manually download:
-First, subscribe in order to download the map.
-To download you'll need to run the old launcher, located in your install directory: Steam\SteamApps\common\chivalrymedievalwarfare\ChivLauncher.exe
-Click the "download subscribed steam workshop items" button in the bottom right
-Once that's done, launch the game and your downloads will be unpacked/installed
-Finally, to open the map, in game, type the following in your console (default keys: ` and Scroll Lock):
open TO2-HordeTown

To play on a server:
Sort your server browser by map name and look for any server running hordetown. Done.

HordeTown has three distinct areas to progress through. The first is the town centre, the horde attacks you from all sides. In the middle of the zone is the Sword And Shield Inn, for all your mercantile needs.

Save up enough money after upgading your gear and prepare to head towards the church in zone 2. Purchasables are located at the church on one end, while the horde approaches from the other end.

If you haven't had enough, make your way through the four locked gates on the road to the third and final zone in the forest beyond the city gates. The gates all have an equal cost, either unlock them all at once by yourself or progress though them with your allies as you save up the gold.

To activate the end game mode - the final round one way or another - and to try your luck at beating HordeTown, buy the flaming chest just past the gate to the third area and awaken the army of darkness!


Features of HordeTown:
- An ending! A (hopefully) hard ending, with an undead army.
- Hit the dinosaur skull to start at wave 10, or hit the human skull behind the tree to set the dinosaur starting wave even higher.
- Hard / normal difficulty mode! Hit the cross before starting the game to toggle between them - the difference is that hard mode throws enemies at you much much faster but it also awards 15 points per kill rather than 10.
- Three areas to progress through, either purchase access with your gold or reach wave level 10 and 15 respectively to access the second and third areas.
- Wave bosses! The final spawn of every wave is the Wave Commander, a skull wearing super heavy.
- Purchasable healing - unlimited uses but gets more expensive each time you use it
- 'hidden' special customization chests
- 'hidden' purchasable ally - summon malric to fight by your side until he falls, then summon him again!
- anti-trolling / anti-confusion, trying to join agatha spawns you as a mason
- horde mod support

Is there any way to avoid the midgame (wave 16 an onwards ish) into a kite-fest?

Id rather fight the ai than kite them around and occasionally kick them into the spikes.

Normal is harder than hard because spawn rates don't matter much in later waves BUT you get only 10 pts per kill as opposed to 15 in hard mode.

enemies will not attack you if you stand in 3rd area in the tunnels, completely breaks the map
