M.D. Tendrafold Fleet Carrier

Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to the latest and greatest development in Mindless Dominion technology: the M.D. Tendrafold Fleet Carrier. The Tendrafold is designed to be a replacement for the Mindless Dominion’s previous flagship aircraft carrier, the Rokenshield. While the Rokenshield was (and still is) a robust and very capable vessel, it was a product of a bygone era (one where hoverplates were still very weak and had no independent movement control), and is beginning to show its age. The Tendrafold, on the other hand, is a state-of-the-art vessel, using the latest technology available to TerraTech to create a devastatingly powerful force-projection warship.


The crux of the Tendrafold’s deadliness lies in its maneuverability. The Rokenshield was by no means slow; it had a top speed of 47 mph and a maximum boost speed of 83 mph. But the Rokenshield was unfortunately rarely able to travel at these speeds, as it had to deal with the varying obstacles of the TerraTech terrain. It couldn’t go over certain inclines or risk losing its automated defense turrets, and caution was needed so that it didn’t lose a wheel from a low-lying luxian crystal. But the Tendrafold has no such problems; it hovers 87 feet above the terrain below, and can easily go over nearly any terrain, including sheer cliff faces. This allows the Tendrafold to quickly maneuver to the most tactically desirable position, and proceed to rain down hell on any opponents within a hundred-mile radius.

The Tendrafold is also improved above the Rokenshield in the following areas:

• Significantly easier to anchor
  
• Elevator is much easier to operate
  
• Rear double-folding ramp allows the Tendrafold to load/carry ground vehicles
  
• Multiplayer-ready (though don’t expect the multitech functions to work unless you’re the host)
  
• Larger internal hangar
  
• Wider Runway
  
• Larger Elevator
  
• No AI-controlled sub-techs (which would build-beam and glitch out if you pitched ±45°)

So that is, in a nutshell, the Tendrafold; a maneuverable hovering warship of malice and might, capable of projecting power far beyond its physical range. If you want specifics on the vessel, scroll down to the specifications section. Below are also instructions on how to operate the Tendrafold.

1. Charge the Tendrafold. (the elevator requires zero-g for stabilization)
   
2. Move the Tendrafold to relatively flat ground. (not necessary, but the elevator will work better)
   
3. Press x. The elevator should move up to the top deck by default.
   
4. Take control of the elevator. If elevator is twisted or stuck, quickly press b twice to free it.
   
5. Load aircraft onto elevator.
   
6. Take control of elevator, and locate the Better Future Block Controller Switch underneath the elevator deck.
   
7. Deactivate the controller to lower the elevator.
   
8. Unload aircraft into the hangar.
   
9. To bring the elevator back up, simply reactivate the controller.

1. Using the Better Future Hover Power Controller located behind the front bridge just above the patio, carefully lower the Tendrafold to the ground.
   
2. To unfold the ramp, start by taking control of the outer ramp and pressing S until the throttle reaches a minimum of 11%.
   
3. If applicable, reduce the inner ramp throttle to 0%.
   
4. Once the two ramps are at their proper throttle levels, take control of the outer ramp and press space. The ramp should quickly unfold, then gently fall to the ground.
   
5. Load vehicles onto Tendrafold.
   
6. To fold up the ramp, firstly take control of the inner ramp and press W until the throttle reaches 11%.
   
7. Take control of the outer ramp and repeat the previous step. Press space once the throttle levels have been reached.
