Railway 2 is a brand new network package which is packed with numerous new features, while maintaining the existing features of original Railway 1 project. It also brings new types of networks such as quads and mainlines. Check Railway 2 Guide in the collection, linked above.

Waldshut-Koblenz Rhine Bridge
The Waldshut–Koblenz Rhine Bridge is a single-track railway bridge on the Turgi–Koblenz–Waldshut railway, between Waldshut and Koblenz AG, crossing the Rhine and the border between Germany and Switzerland. It was the first railway bridge built over the Rhine below Lake Constance. It is the only major railway bridge over the Rhine, which is completely preserved in its original condition and is one of Europe's few lattice truss bridges. It is also one of the oldest railway bridges in the world.

  • Pack of 2 networks:
  • 1 lane 2 way
  • 2 lane 2 way
  • Features Euro Wooden sleepers and updated textures for Koblenz bridge, which was previously published for R1.
  • USA Wire standard compatibility: Use Adaptive Roads to customize the wire height.
  • Custom abutments

All pillars and materials are shared across Koblenz set.

Comes as electrified networks. Use Network Skins to disable wires on-dragging, or Catenary Replacer to cancel wires map-wide. Part of RAILWAY project, thus requires Railway Replacer to customize track props.

Highly recommend to check the complete guide for full features and details.

Ok thank you for your help and tips really appreciate it.

Outside connections is weird to deal with. We know that using custom networks might sometimes break connection, thus we recommed players to stick with vanilla segment in/outbound for one segment then switch custom.

You can try with vanilla network, see if the tunnel happens. If not, you can always have a small hill or something close to hide the connection area, if not ploppable surfaces to hide the segment in question.

Are there any rail networks that work as underground tunnels to outside connections, every time i try with the rail networks i have they just appear above ground. No such problem with roads im using tho they'll all tunnel to outside. Bit weird that rail doesn't seem to support this?

Ah that did the trick thanks

Nodes can also be customized with Adaptive Roads, so you need to click on the node (ctrl click) then select the wire standard you need

Quick issue I've noticed since the last update to this: wires don't continue across the node when transitioning to another R2 network, looks like this [imgur.com]. Only happens when connecting to another noded network.

Also I absolutely love the new networks, keep up the great work

Perfect you are a genius, thanks for your work

You can see new abutmen in screenshots.

Update:

Modified network behavior from noded to nodeless for 1 and 2 lane tracks. Both networks have now custom abutments that will also be used on other networks.

Supported junctions:
- single: regular, mainline, tunnel portals
- double: regular, mainline, tunnel portals
- quad: regular, mainline, tunnel portals

Partially supported junctions (lacks lattice truss mesh due to compatibility):
- single, double, quad: Bridges

Non supported junctions:
- Stations, as they are master overrides over all other nets.
