I wanted to increase the playability of female characters and add some flavour to the medieval experience... so I made this historically inaccurate mod! Woah!


Includes:
  • Ten unique Amazonian subcultures
  • A new game rule for global succession
  • A new female-only warrior lodge for intrepid warmaidens
  • New unlockable traits
  • Powerful new bloodlines
  • Cool new artifacts
  • Slate of new useful decisions


To convert to an Amazonian culture, you must be an independent adult female either with 36 realm size or a kingdom title. You must also have a culture capable of converting.

  • the Legacy of Rome DLC (for the ability to castrate prisoners and recruit unique retinues)
  • the Holy Fury DLC (for access to the Hall of Heroines warrior lodge)
  • the Sons of Abraham DLC (for the ability to reform feminist heresies)
  • the Sword of Islam DLC (for the ability to reform Islamic Caliphates)

@Gavador, depends on the mod. This one mostly adds new things and makes edits of maybe two or three. It fixes some issues with the base game generally and that might step on the toes of another mod that does the same thing.
Mods that change worlds completely (AGOT, Elder Scrolls, etc) wouldn't work too well. Most other mods should be fine though.

@Orphan, very interesting idea with that mod. Certainly more in depth with ensuring a strong female lineage by essentially forcing daughters to appear. I will say there are features to this mod that actively force enatic preferences (as you might expect) even on vassals of a different culture. This usually results in matrilineal marriages anyway. But as to whether an amazonian ruler ends up with sons or daughters I leave entirely to the fates.

So to answer your first question again, I don't suspect there'll be any conflicts though some features will probably end up complementing each other in a convoluted roundabout way.

Oh cool, alright that's perfect then. There is a mod that does what I was talking about decently well, I just vastly prefer this mod due to all the cool features so I don't use the other one. But it makes women of the Amazonian culture specifically have Parthenogenesis reproduction and automatically culls all boys born.That way it doesn't result in dynastic suicide lol. @Orphan, Thank you! Conflicts, I'm fairly certain those wouldn't be an issue - but you might double up on some contraceptive and adoptive features. Those are probably a bit more circumstantial in this mod though as they're not key features.

And while I love how dark that is, it would probably lead to dynastic suicide for quite a number of characters :\ But if you're looking for a particularly dark feature, this mod does allow you to collect castrated testes in a box. And the more you collect, the bigger the box gets :)

Love this mod! Does this conflict with any mods that allow lesbian marriage/conception/adoption mechanics? And is that anything you're considering adding to this mod? Would be neat to have a feature in place for the player and AI with any of the Amazonian cultures to only be able to have girls and automatically cull boys on birth lol

Important update:
1) "wake up, babe. new Valascan culture just dropped"
2) made huge changes to the way Amazonian cultures appear and spread as a way to combat cross-pollination. Check the change notes for better details.
