Description


Some races have life-stages above adulthood, like elderly or ancient.
This causes issues when using the age-reversal for example as the vanilla logic is to assume that the last life-stage is adulthood.

This mod lets you select what stage is to be considered adulthood for each race if needed.

It's not exactly a mod conflict but I found this mod causes noticeable lag whenever Gloomy Dragonians are on the map.

I'm not sure how or why, but a while back, I had to find a problem Mod in my list, and this was it. I don't remember exactly what it did, but it caused serious errors with "Rimworld". If I ever remember what it was, I'll let you know.

@Mlie so if I use only the vanilla human race, I shouldn't need it, since children once >= 18 (or 20?) years change to "adult" stage. That's how I understand it now, got it.

@Karmapowered You will need this mod for any race that has any lifestage after adulthood, as the game assumes the last stage is adulthood.
You can also use this mod to define teen as "adulthood" for a race and the age-reversal will then use teen as a target-age.

@Mlie A quick question please if you don't mind : do I need this mod if I want my "teens" grown up to "adults" (and therefore with just a single background) to use biosculpter pods ?

I don't use any particular race mods, but both the following mods to simulate "generations" :

Otherwise said, is there a penalty for pawns growing into "adults" from a child stage (other than just having a single background story) ?

Also, not sure if this is the right place to ask, but since I know you to be one of the most knowledgeable members of the community, do you know if vanilla "age reversal" could return a pawn to a "teen" status from "adult" with both the mods above ?

Without this mod, a pawn can't use the age reversal cycle on the biosculpter pod unless they are in their last life stage, which for vanilla pawns is "adult" at 18 years. This obviously causes issues for any custom races with life stages beyond adult.
