Description
Developed as a competitor to the Stubbs, the Gunnarsson was supposed to be a more reliable but equally deadly weapon platform. Sturdier than its counterpart, it's equipped with several twin-linked coilguns that offer an excellent coverage of the sub. However, due to its underpowered engine, lack of logistics systems and high expenses only a handful were produced.

How to play
A tough nugget to crack, the Gunnarsson sports several layers of armour and 3 twin-linked coilguns, capable of unleashing a hail of rounds into the enemies, shredding them to pieces. Compared to the Stubbs, it has a much better layout and is a lot safer for its crew; on the other hand, it lacks the punch of a railgun and the flexibility and logistic advantages of a drone.

With closed ballasts situated at the centre and two batteries powering up the upper deck (which can also be made to power up the entire sub in case of emergency), the Gunnarsson can be very "disaster-safe"; with that said, it lacks any sort of crafting facility, it's somewhat short on crew equipment and has a rather underpowered engine, so it can be fairly difficult for it to perform well outside of its intended role.

Author's notes
Load explosive ammo and let loose against swarms of threshers or crawlers for maximum lols.

Glad you're enjoying it! Remember that you can tell bots not to touch something ingame (I believe it's shift+middle mouse), so you can tell them to ignore the door (although keep in mind that if you close it they won't be allowed to open it again!).

So I've been running this ship with some bots today and it's an absolute dream.

If I can offer some constructive criticism though:
Since there are 2 guns on top I engage enemies with the top of the sub, as one does. Unfortunately the top left of the ship is the thinnest point in the outer layer, so always tends to at least crack to some degree in serious engagements. This then trickles down and fills the engine room, doing plenty of damage to the engine.
With players I could just leave the door open to the reactor room. Since im with bots right now though, my solution for myself will probably be either removing the door or extending the bilge over. Padding the top left armor of the ship would work as well, or just y'know, buying armor upgrades during my campaign. ;)

Thanks for the awesome ship though! We'll see if I can get these bots to a Tier 2 station so I can buy the MS1 and have the whole package.
