Description
Welcome to the Faction: Hippies !


This mod adds two new non-playable factions, a community of hippies, and a community of nudist hippies!

Hippies love everyone, they are non-violent, so they are unlikely to attack you.

They were easy targets, being often in a daze, wearing only simple clothes offering no protection and even when they are wearing something, and can only defend themselves with vague agricultural tools which they use for their cultures.
Your colonies of raiders will undoubtedly have no difficulty to beat these idealists, but is it moral?

If your colony sticks to more peaceful ideologies, you can turn them into loyal allies which although they will not be very useful (if at all) for a military alliance, the hippies might nevertheless surprise you if one of their commercial caravan was reaching you.

Accompanied by their donkeys, goats or other sheep, the hippies can provide you with delicious vegetarian meals or various psychotropic drugs, as well as other surprises depending on the mods to which you have subscribed!


Please report any issues with this mod to me, you can also suggest changes but I repeat that I am not an artist or a coder and my skills are very limited.

Patches:

Vanilla expanded framework: Factions will only appear in specified biomes (including Advanced Biomes, More Vanilla Biomes, Biomes! Oasis, Biomes! Islands).
Custom Settlement for Hippies !

More Precepts: Hippies are pacifists! Addition of the `` Pacifism '' meme for the 2 factions (note it was not designed to work with non-player factions, please report any problem with the same)

Tribal Warrior Set !: Added clothing that will appear on hippies

Vanilla apparel expanded: Added clothing that will appear on hippies

XenoDiversity Precept: Hippies will be delighted to meet people from other cultures and species !

Faction : Samurais: More agricultural tools for hippies.

Just realized that it is because the mod is not fully translated, the English doesn't cover the research project at least.

Not sure if this is just me but the English translation was in French, I think, I can't read it anyway.

Love it! hippies work well with my magical based trader faction. easy to trade & supply them with fun druggies. Easy to edit the looks in character editor and replace the skin with the anime I use for humans, same one they use on the tribal warrior set page. that skin support humans and make them look less fugly.

I haven't encountered any Hippies so far, as I haven't played for too long and just added the faction to my save via VE, but I already love the new farming tools, which I have a suggestion for regarding their bonuses:

Right now it seems as though hoe, rake, and sickle all need 125 work to make, but the hoe pretty much gives the bonuses of the rake and the sickle combined, so aside from RP there is no real reason to ever craft a rake or a sickle.

Maybe increasing the bonuses the rake and sickle give to +25% each, while the hoe keeps its +15% for both planting speed and yield could make the choice of which to craft a bit more balanced and interesting.

This is not really an issue, just something I noticed while looking at the crafting bills to see what to make and which I think could improve your already great mod.

Really clean work, not a lot a fluff and what is there just makes it better. I swapped from several other factions over to yours and I appreciate how unintrusive they are.

My only complaint, and it's mainly to save me from doing it myself, is the base icons on the map. The little heads just don't fit the overworld/rimworld style the rest of your mods do so well. The little tents/houses/castles is what I'm talking about even the symbols, like the VFE Insectoids have, would be fine too.

Otherwise its' great work, definitely gonna be keeping an eye out for your stuff.

Hi, it would be cool if you were to create a small patch for Combat Extended, for the few garden tools!
