Space is Dark

Description

Replaces those nebula backgrounds with shimmering stars.

If you're wondering why it looks darker in the screenshots, these are using the Darker Illumination mod from the collection listed here: Space is Dark.

This is a client-side mod. If you're a server owner you need to "whitelist" it for clients to be able to use it.

Installation

Single player
- Just subscribe and enable it... override your mod settings for ongoing saves.
Server (allow players to use it)
- Create "modconfig.lua" in the server galaxy folder, help here[avorion.fandom.com].
- Add "allowed" table in the file, if it doesn't exist:
allowed = { }
- Add "{id = "2577563779"}," in the "allowed" table:
allowed = { {id = "2577563779"}, }

it works

to be honest, i expected to see things like distant galaxies, nebulae, arm(s) of the home galaxy, but its just a field of stars. to be honest, the title of the mod and the description say it, but still its not what i would expect to see in space.

this doesnt seem to work for me. i still get nebs in each sector

I'm currently not modding Avorion sadly, but if anyone wants to try that feel free to base from what I did here

I tried to tamper around the star density without success tho, I wasn't able to figure it out.

The author, I beg you, make another mod on the contrary. So that there are very few stars, and the skyboxes are clean. I'll subscribe to it right away
