Description
Makes ambient light and shadows darker.

The images above are in combination with the mods listed on the collection here: Space is Dark.

This is a client-side mod. If you're a server owner you need to "whitelist" it for clients to be able to use it.

Installation
  • Single player
    - Just subscribe and enable it... override your mod settings for ongoing saves.
  • Server (allow players to use it)
    - Create "modconfig.lua" in the server galaxy folder, help here[avorion.fandom.com].
    - Add "allowed" table in the file, if it doesn't exist:
    allowed = { }
    - Add "{id = "2577636661"}," in the "allowed" table:
    allowed = { {id = "2577636661"}, }

hey canseco if you are done with avorion stuff could i get permissions to reulpoad your mod maybe tweak it even. im not exactly sure how to edit the files but people really love this mod and the recent update borked it hard.

Hi, this mod now causes the windows on crew quarters to be blacked out (not glowing) I figure this mod might be dead but if there's any chance of an update it would be much appreciated!

And yes, despite not being updated to the latest version, you can simply edit the modinfo file and it WILL work!

Playing on an AMD RX 580 8GB with latest drivers, only had one crash. Totally phenomenal mod, really brings a sense of being out in space, combined with the starfield mod and fog turned up to max, it's really awesome.
