Quest Selection Background - Locations and Enemies (SI)

Description
You can also download the companion mod to this one called "Another Provisions Screen" by RustyDios from here.

NOTE:
This version is compatible with The Sunward Isles, it just replaces the background so it has my info on the left, and the Sunward Isles boat on the background (you can still use it without that mod if you like the fancy boat, it will still work in your game). If you want the vanilla non-Sunward Isles version you can get it here.

Description:
Shows common enemies by location on the left side of the quest selection screen based on the wiki.

I added the most common enemy types you can find in each zone, from most frequent to least frequent.
You will still run into other enemy types in unique/boss encounters, these are just the most common ones according to the wiki. The bleed and blight icons to the left of each area name indicate the primary DOT weakness for each zone enemies. In the case of dual bleed-blight or blight-bleed the top icon is the most common one.

This is mainly for people like me who come back to the game every few months and can't remember which location had which types of enemies.

I placed the info to the left so as not to conflict with the rest of the UI, but also so that I can check it whenever I am reading positive/negative quirks in a character sheet, sometimes a character will have more/less efficiency against a particular type of enemy (Human, Beast, Eldritch, etc), and it's nice to have the common enemy types by location to the side to quickly decide whether to take that character or not to a particular zone.

Changelog:
v1.3: Added bleed and blight icons to the left of the area names to indicate the primary DOT weakness for each zone enemies.
v1.2: Reduced the size of the info to avoid clipping with the Crimson Court banner.
v1.1: Added Sunward Isles and Yokai enemy type info.
v1.0: Initial release.

Any possible to support Vermintide?
[Prima Nox] Varushet 30 Dec, 2021 @ 5:36pm
Can you make it compatible with Vermintide dungeon mod? Thanks

Yeah, that looks good :)

I ended up going with the smaller font size option, I think it looks good, the only change I had to make was listing the enemy types horizontally instead of vertically to save more space, but I like the outcome so it'll have to do for now. Hope it works well. :)

are you on discords at all? maybe we can come up with something, rather than this back-forth on steam :)

\features\crimson_court\fx\infestation_level.infestation_level.sprite
is the file that needs editing

I'll post a version with smaller font later, let's see how it goes.

The issue is the CC banner being a huge monstrosity, much better to hide/remove that tbh
RustyDios 4 Aug, 2021 @ 9:10pm
Nah, I don't like that with the information all "randomly" thrown in
It looked much better along the left edge

Hmmm... what do you think of something like this Rusty for the Sunward Isles version?

https://i.imgur.com/D9b9o36.png (I thought about positioning The Ruins above The Warrens in that screenshot, there is some space, but if you check the character sheet of a hero it will block that info, and it's kind of the idea behind the mod, to be able to check the info WHILE having the character sheet open).

I really want to avoid reducing the size of the font, it's very hard to read it.

The non-Sunward Isles version has a bit more room to work with because it doesn't have that location, so I might be able to use the left side, and the middle-left side next to the four hero slots.
