Designed for the Carrier-Based Fighter-Bomber Program in GetBrocked's community, with a focus on seeing use in the Outlands series.

DESCRIPTION:

The Praevex is designed to fulfill a multirole purpose when used as a carrier-based fighter. To better fit that niche, the Alpha pattern was built with the mentality of 'More than enough, but never too much."

Praevex fighters of the Alpha pattern are equipped with what is perceived as an optimal compliment of 220mm without forcing chassis complexity or wasting space for what's needed. In the same spirit, the 43mms attached had good placement in mind, but the onboard camera only came with the later upgrade (pre-Workshop) due to pilot feedback.

Other features related to pilot feedback include the CTRL-2 panel consisting of QOL and off-combat settings, including turning off the decorative lights and preventing the landing gear from auto-connecting if so desired. Some pilots' ammunition concerns lead to a 1/2 burst setting to extend the relative ammo life at the cost of only firing 8 per burst, which was perceived as a negligable downside given the destructive capacity of each individual missile.
