Europe At War - France (D-Day SP/COOP Campaign)

Description
*Now with COOP thanks to 'Acc'*

Shortly after midnight on 6 June, over 18,000 men of the US 82nd and 101st Airborne Divisions and the British 6th and 9th Airborne Division were dropped into Normandy. Allied paratroopers and glider-borne infantry were well trained and highly skilled, but for many this was their first experience of combat. Their objectives were to capture key sites behind the beaches and to secure the flanks of the assault areas.

'Europe at War : France' will bring these stories to life. With highly detailed maps and heavily scripted missions this mod will seek to bring you a fast paced, exciting and cinematic campaign.

The following missions have been scripted and mapped to be loosely based on their real counterparts.

Mission 1 - Pegasus Bridge

Mission 2 - The Fauville Crossing

Mission 3 - The Merville Battery

Mission 4 - The Battle for Sainte-Mère-Église

Without realizing it, I started playing again this excellent mod, shortly before the 80th anniversary of the 1944 landing in France.
A way to remember historical events, and to replay them ... without taking too many personal risks !

Your mod always amaze me with the details like items next to a dead soldier and such
There is however a major flaw tho...The damage.....eh.....it really do be Punishing 1~3 shot to die....Damage on difficulty doesn't matter if anyone was wondering
The First US Airborne drop, it would be nice if the Paraplanes would stop being destroyed which would cause a bit of fps drop due to people taking their sweet ass time like I did since the game is pretty punishing with the damage
I'll admit that I have used mods such as increasing range which increase the difficulty but man I was not expecting the damage to be punishing.
I find rather than "taking cover", it's much better if you manually prone a slope road and fire from there than taking cover on badly rendered cover position.

Overall, great mod. the damage would be nice if we could change it depends on the preference

@BeriusAkimbo think its just your game copy man, fired it up on my computer there and worked ok. Try deleting the whole men of war assault squad 2 file from your steam apps and reinstalling. Let me know if it works out ok!

@lukeisonfirex Thanks for the kind words Luke, we did put alot of work into it. hope to do justice to your awesome maps in future versions (still personally think you were the best gem editor mapper there ever was) but yea man nice to hear from you though, hope you've been well.
