The "Self Radio" radio station can be used by players to create their own personalized soundtrack.

1 - First you will need to copy your audio files in .mp3, .wma or .m4a format in the dedicated folder, which by default is:

.. \ Documents \ Rockstar Games \ GTA V \ User Music

2 - At this point, enter GTA V, access the pause menu, select the "Settings" tab, then "Audio" in the left column and finally select the item "Perform full music scan" (or alternatively the one The "Personal radio mode" item in the audio options will allow you to select the way in which the songs will be played in the game, that is sequentially, randomly or in "radio" style with pauses for dialogue and radio commercials.

3 - Once the scanning process is finished you can get on any vehicle in the game and select the "Self Radio" station to enjoy your favorite music.

La stazione radiofonica "Self Radio" potrà essere sfruttata dai giocatori per creare la propria soundtrack personalizzata.

1 - Per prima cosa dovrete copiare i vostri file audio in formato .mp3, .wma o .m4a nella cartella dedicata,che di default è:

..\Documenti\Rockstar Games\GTA V\User Music

2 - A questo punto entrate all'interno di GTA V,accedete al menu di pausa,selezionate la scheda "Impostazioni",quindi "Audio" nella colonna sinistra e infine selezionate la voce "Esegui scansione completa della musica" (o in alternativa quella veloce).La voce "Modalità radio personale" nelle opzioni audio vi permetterà di selezionare il modo con cui le canzoni verranno riprodotte all'interno del gioco,ovvero in modo sequenziale,in maniera casuale oppure in stile "radio" con pause per dialoghi e spot radiofonici.

3 - Una volta terminato il processo di scansione potrete salire su un qualsiasi veicolo del gioco e selezionare la stazione "Self Radio",per godervi la vostra musica preferita.

You're correct GigaChad. If the other person has music selected for their own end, listening to Self Radio will let them hear from their playlist, while you hear from yours. It does not sync to your systems and make them hear your music. It's just they hear their music, and you hear yours.

On Online i presume it works but. only i can hear what i put. the other one hears waht they have on their own self radio right?

It also works on iTunes if you have an Apple account.

I've been using the self radio for years online...but only you can hear it. Friends playing with you can not....they will hear a random station from what I've seen. But who cares about them, right? It's your own personal mp3 player bumping YOUR tunes while your robbing, shooting, and pillaging the streets of Los Santos ;)
