Description
It's here, the final Urban Complexity district expansion! It has been an honor doing this series to such great reception and I am grateful for all the support and encouragement I have received from both players and modders alike. Enjoy playing with the full thing encompassing all specialty districts!

--

New Happiness-focused building choices for the Entertainment districts, which are renamed to "Fairground" and "Amusement Pier". Adds a total of 6 new buildings and reworks the existing buildings as well. Further, both districts now have a Gold adjacency bonus, which also grants Tourism equal to it with Flight researched.

The new bonuses provide each city with a multitude of ways to earn Amenities, Tourism, and a variety of other yields.

Credit to Merrick for helping out with the Convention Center and Concert Hall model, and to JFD for the district name change.

  • 2 - Zoo: 1 Amenity (regional). 2 Tourism. 1 Science to Pastures and Camps.
  • 2 - Botanical Garden: 1 Amenity (regional). 2 Tourism. 1 Science to Farms, Plantations, and Lumber Mills (with e.g. Resourceful 2) over Resources.
  • 3 - Stadium: 1 Amenity (local) per 4 Specialty districts, or per 2 if powered. No change to Tourism. +1 Gold for every Stadium and Aquatics Center in the empire.

Compatibility and Recommendations

Requires Gathering Storm. Other DLC supported but not required.

This mod is compatible with P0kiehl's Civilizations Expanded and CIVITAS' City States Expanded (CSE). The new buildings will receive the respective bonuses. For purposes of City State yields with CSE, the buildings will count as Tiers 2 to 4, with the district itself receiving bonuses for Tier 1.

This mod is of course not compatible with other mods fundamentally changing the Entertainment Complex or Water Park.

Does this alter tourism? If so, would it be worth adding hotel building in districts for +1 housing or +tourism?

The asset limit doesn't trigger exclamation marks. What OS are you playing on?

Perhaps you've exceeded your asset count limit?

I use this mod, and have no such problems.

For some reason the art of the arena (entertainment complex) is not loading, resulting in a big red check mark over the entertainment complex. I have verified my game files and was wondering it had anything to do with this mod?

Great - thanks

The name should change accordingly. If not, it's just a text mismatch, the gameplay won't be impacted.

@Ateteu_ I have a similar question. It looks pretty awesome and I'm keen to have some differences between cities based on district specialisation, but will it work with Sukritact's Urban Identities & oceans? The districts have been renamed and are referenced in those mods.

Nope.
Just built 2 of those an hour ago, and still playing. No crashes.

Seems to be something up with this mod, whenever I try to build any of the buildings outside of the standard... ie: Botanical Gardens... the game crashes.
