Description
! This submarine is currently out of date with game updates, if anybody cares, send me a message or leave a comment and I'll consider updating it. My apologies. !

1-3 crew shuttle/mini sub intended for use with the "C58 Catfish Punk Bomb" submarine. Features reactor for autonomous operation, one coilgun and a speedy engine for uh, running away. The front has a massive glass window but behind it are automatic flood shutters in the event of damage to the glass. The bottom has "landing legs" for parking the vessel on the ground and providing easy access to the outside from the bottom facing airlock.

Flood shutters
The Runaway features a large front window in the command room and since this is highly prone to structural failure, should a major breach in it occur, a series of flood shutters will close once the water level reaches the platform on which the Nav console sits. Once the crew has exited combat and have time to repair the damage it is possible to override the shutters by pressing a toggle button above the Nav console (Remember to toggle the override off afterwards though!) An identical toggle button is also present on the glass side in case a crew member finds themselves on the wrong side of the shutters when flooding happens. A similar system is in place in the airlock with a shutter between the suit lockers to reduce the airlock's impact on buoyancy control.


Landing legs
This shuttle is a sort of personnel carrier. As such it features landing legs to allow for easily setting it down on the seafloor upon reaching the mission location.

Ingame description:
A small Infiltrator Strike Submarine with a crew of 3 designed for integration with to the Europa Coalition C58 Heavy. Capable of long term independent operation when stocked thanks to a compact nuclear reactor but lacking batteries and facilities for item processing. Despite being bulky by shuttle standards, carries only one coilgun due to docking integration clearance constraints however the Runaway makes up for this by boasting excellent speed.
