Sound / Audio Fix for Windows 10 & 7

Hi guys,

If you wanted to explore this cult noltalgia again, you might wanna check this.
Game got sound problem after OS Vista, 7, 8, 10 I think.
No worries there is an easy fix for that.

1-) Go to this link and download fix file:
https://community.pcgamingwiki.com/files/file/508-max-payne-sound-fix

2-) Put every file in the rar to game directory, probably:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Max Payne

3-) Run MaxBatch.bat file. When a window opens with commands, as you read easy instructions just press "C" button to let the file convert your games audio files for modern operating systems. It can takes up to 5 minutes depending on your system.

4-) After process completed run the game and enjoy!

Never heard of that, but you can try these:
-Maku sure game runs with Hardware from Options
-Run the game .exe as Administrator
Also you can provide more details for your problem. What's your system specs? What's happening when you interfee or not? Is game works out that spot without modding?

I have one problem here.
I can't get pst the initial story page after Max says "To make any kind of sence of it i'll have to go back to the beginning of it all". Then the game opens up a story-page, and then everything grinds to a halt. I can only start the sequence over by pressing Enter, but i can't advance the story or get into any kind of game play.
