OKI Grande Weapons Pack - Modernized

Omschrijving
This was originally going to be a test/beta mod for changes that would be pushed to the OKI mainline branch, but I think Okim has been well and truly consumed by StarBase. So, instead of passing these changes to Okim I will keep this patch updated as best as I am able. I consider the balance and functionality in a good state right now, but I am always interested in hearing feedback. If you encounter any bugs, please let me know in the comments.

What is different between this mod and the original OKI mod?
1. Bugfixes. Having trouble with guns not pulling ammo automatically, or certain guns not working? Try this mod.
2. Balance. I do my best to give every gun a niche, something it is good at, and try to tune damage so that fights aren't over too quickly. It can take hours of mining and welding to put a ship together, you should have time to enjoy it before it's shot out from under you.
3. Updated models. Thanks to Chipstix and Ash Like Snow, this mod has updated weapon models with full skinning support.
4. New gun(s)! Again, thanks to Chipstix, this pack features additional turrets unavailable in the original OKI pack.

TODO: Review and balance component costs for all blocks. Consider shield damage modifiers (+/-) for weapons - current weapons all deal 1x damage to shields. Rebalance recoil and impact forces (they are generally too high). Rebalance ammo costs for new damage (again).

KNOWN ISSUES: If you are changing to this mod for the first time from the OKI mainline (or similar), the small grid fixed 122 will probably have dropped off your hotbars, so you will need to re-add it to your cockpits etc. It may also refuse to fire after you first re-add it. Saving and reloading or firing a different type of fixed gun on the same grid then switching back should fix it, and it should only happen the one time per grid after which it should stay fixed.

Now that the OKI rocket turrets have been converted to the railgun framework and use a different ammo type, you may need to manually remove the vanilla 200mm rocket ammo from them to make room for the new 203mm ammo (which you will also need to produce).

Thank you for keeping this alive! But i think now it needs an update to the new Block Menu structure. And question: Are they supposed to be included in the progression tree?

🎉 good news

@Xeon Could not reproduce, all 122mm weapons deal damage for me.
@erik Could not reproduce, game speed normal (?).
@lego_is_cool Could not reproduce, aiming radius fully adjustable for me.

I may have some time to give this some attention in the near future. I've been considering whether Vanilla+ and/or DynamicArmor may be worth incorporating into this mod, but that is a larger project that may need to wait for later this winter. First things first, some bugfixes maybe? This is what I've collected so far from some quick baseline testing.

1. 50mm small grid fixed muzzle flare wrong location
2. 14.5mm small grid fixed muzzle flare wrong location
3. 50mm large grid fixed muzzle flare wrong location

These all seem to be related to when Keep messed up muzzle flare mapping with the warfare update, I remapped them, and then they undid their screwup and so screwed these up. What other bugs are you guys encountering that you'd like me to try and fix?

Hmm, didn't know about that adjuster. I think with that and block limiter I have what I need. Going to take your advice and go that route.

Yes I'm saying additional permission is required for use of these assets.

Generally I disagree with server packs the mod adjuster is great for most things. Probably not when frameworks are involved

The original OKI bundle has a clause for general permission to use the mod. Was asking here since that was on the original mod page to get permission from this mod. I believe Chipstix, you did the retexture and seff did the rework. I wanted to get permissions all around.

Are you saying I should get permission from Okim to use this material on this mod in addition to the general use clause on the original mod page? I'm down to get whatever perms needed, just not totally sure who all to include.

No uploads without the express permission of the original owner. This mod exists because okim allowed the re model.

Could I create a modified version of this with some rebalance, and only the fixed and casimate?
I would fully credit of course.

I really appreciate this mod, but have ideas for my server.
