Genesect

Description
The Paleozoic Pokémon Genesect can now be played in Rivals of Aether! Some of Genesects moves are unusual, so before you give them a try, reading some of the info bellow might be helpful:

Genesect Moveset Guide:

Neutral Special: Genesect shoots a blast from its cannon, which is different based on how long you charge the move. A brief charge will create a fast but puny shot, while charging a bit longer will shoot out a slower but ,ore powerful variant. Make sure to watch your meter as you charge, as when it is full you'll be able to shoot a laser instead!

- Forward Special: A magnet bomb is shot from Genesect's canon, that can you can then kick around the stage. Once it is spawned, using forward special will cause it to suck in nearby projectiles and other objects (including yours) to gain power. If forward special is input while eating the bomb explodes, with its power depending on what it ate. (This move can only eat articles from workshop characters, but projectiles can be eaten from both workshop and vanilla characters).

- Up Special: Input a direction then dash with a bit of armor to help.

- Down Special: Genesect pulls up a menu from which one of four drives can be chosen that alter the abilities of your canon shots. The blue drive is the Douse Drive, which has increased launch power at the cost of its damage. Opposite of that is the Burn Drive, which deals more damage with a reduction to its kill power. The Shock Drive makes comboing easier by increasing hitstun on shots, and the Chill Drive slows down your shots for better control. After ten uses a drive must recharge for a while so don't waste your shots!

- Forward & Up Air: Both these attacks cause you to shoot a projectile. To aim the projectile input up or down before the shot comes out.

@Sir Wabungus IV finally getting around to trying genesect
and wow they're actually pretty neat
even spritework is pretty good
the hitpause and movement on it feels a bit unpolished so I'd touch up on that
but I actually like the character a lot
neat gimmick and pretty good sprites
but yeah just make them feel more rivals esque with hitpause and movement

I wish the movement for Genesect wasn't stiff, I love this mod but the movement kinda puts me off as most other mods have movement that fits the style of RoA

I want the Drive Selection to be used thru the taunt and make the Down Special be something like Blaze Kick, since Genesect had that move in an event in Pokemon

I feel this character would get more attention if it fiit the style, but good job on original sprites
