Introduction

I know people don’t love ET, but isn’t this exactly what is happening in TW:WH2? The dwarfs can no longer rely on their traditional tactics any more. Not only do they suffer from enemies that outrange them, the player is also made to fight the same battle over and over again. This mod aims to change that.

What does this mod do?
While there are already great mods out there that make people use different army compositions, most of them punishes or outright forbids player from spamming out certain units. This mod takes a different approach. Upon reaching level 10, 20 and 30, your LL will be given a trait that improves certain units in his/her army. This will hopefully encourage players to use these units in this LL's army. The script runs for both player and AI, so confederated LLs will come with the correct stage of their trait unlocked and AI will benefit from it.

Experimental Feature
One of the issues I had is that leveling every single LL to level 30 tends to be an unnecessary grind, in this mod I have added a new feature which unlocks the final stage for all LLs once any of the LL reaches level 30. Let me know what you think about this and tell me if it works properly, I do want to integrate this feature into other mods retroactively.
This Feature can be configured using Mod Configuration Tool: Reborn, not only can you choose if you want to activate this feature, you can also decide at which level you get to unlock all the benefits. (I do not know what will happen if you change the settings in the middle of a campaign, it is recommended to start a new campaign if you want to change the settings)

Gyrocopters/bombers, Hammerers, Miners, Rangers and Bolt Throwers. Under the command of the correct LL, they are now revamped to give them a chance to shine in your campaign (And trust me, they will). Every variant now have their own personality and role in the army, so Miner(Blasting Charges) is no longer a straight upgrade for Miner, giving all mentioned units a place in your army.

General Changes
These changes are applied to the whole faction since some effects cannot be added via Traits:
After acquiring the first stage of his Trait, Thorgrim has access to immediate siege battles without any siege attacker in his army. (You no longer have to bring an artillery for that, gyros can handle sieges well)
Bolt Throwers now have a second fire mod (It is a straight upgrade to the normal fire mode, but it is necessary to achieve the effect I desire in Grombrindal’s army)

About Balance
I do consider these armies better than a usual dwarven doomstack, but let us not pretend that the vanilla game is balanced. If Skaven and High Elves can get OP stuff, surely other races are allowed to have some fun as well. I do not think these armies are as OP as a weapon teams stack for example.

Compatibility
This mod should be compatible with any other mod, including SFO. This mod can cause UI confliction with mods that edit shot types. (AFAIK we cannot add custom shot type so we are only given so many tools to work with, however it is just a UI confliction and does not affect functionality)

This mod is save-game compatible. If you load into a pre-existing save with this mod enabled, but this mod was not enabled for this save, the mod will give LLs traits depending on their level. For example, if you have a save game and your LL was level 23. Once you load the game with this mod enabled, your LL will automatically be awarded with the second stage of the trait.

Heyo, great mod man! Really love the differences it brings to campaigns! Must have for me now! c:
I had one small issue, and forgive me if it's some other common bug I don't know of but I've never experienced it until I downloaded this mod-
When Grombrindal gets his improved missile weapon for cannons there appears to be no sound from the firing of the cannons, just the impact of the shell.
I've heard of this bug with Steam Tanks recently with the S&F update, but I unno. Just lettin' ya know! Don't even know if it's your mod or not, but still! Thank you again bud!

I have a suggestion for a grombrindalu trait, to replace the one you have now.
The white dwarf is very ancient and he has the veneration of both Grugni and Grimnir, because.. why not give him general buffs for melee infantry and shooters?

I'm gonna be honest with the skills he has i feel instead of miners it makes more sense for quarralers and grudge throwers due to his start and everything, that and the miners buff is just.. disappointing

@warriorandtoaster --- Sorry but I didn't have time to start and test in a new campaign. Since Thorek uses grombrindal's trait I just made sure his trait is triggered correctly. I don't understand how the override works and it would seem there is no certain way to know it beside actually trying it out. I will have to think of something else for him when I have more time to work on modding.
