Description


DMI is celebrating one year of publishing Blueprints. To say Thank you for a great year full of joy and advancements here is DMIs first Space Fighter.
Ritterschwert "Mastering reality"

The small grid Space multipurpose fighter is built for agility and reliability. With multiple offensive and defensive Capabilities, it is perfectly suited for any survival situation. Styled to meet the aesthetic of games like Star Citizen it still stays true to the principle of form following function. With enormous fire power and several extra functions, it is the weapon you can reliy on to fight, defend and survive.

Design Feature
  • Burst Damage Gatling Guns: 12 Gatling guns built in a closer spread around the cockpit make sure your weapons are on point and devastating in a fraction of a second.
  • Rocket Battery: 4 rocket Launchers make sure you can take on large grid ships
  • Turret: 3 Gatling Turrets give you the firepower to destroy multiple targets at once or defend against multiple threats.
  • Decoy Defense screen: 8 Detachable decoy can be used in Defense or Offense situation to deistract fire from the Ritterschwert
  • Compact Hangar Space: Only 6x3x2 Blocks of large grid Hangar Space neede for storing the Ritterschwert
  • Projector Repair System: the Projector and prefittet blueprint make sure the Ritterschwert can be repaired quick and easy.
  • Orientation steering: using the "Q" and "E" Buttons to rotate and pulling up makes sure all 12 large thrusters are pushing the Ritterschwert the way you want to go. while keeping the craft light and agile.
  • Landing gear: 1 Landing gear at the front give you the ability for salvage or pirating operations.
  • Scouting: Equipped with ore sensors multiple cameras it is able to discover ore deposits and enemies alike.

Button Layout
Hotbar 1
  1. -empty button-
  2. Timer Block Decoys (Detaches 2 decoys from the ship. can be pressed 4 times for a total of 8 Decoys)
  3. Forward Thrusters (Turns off forward facing thrusters. The ship wont stop when leting go of "W")
  4. Camera Front Left (Change view to forward facing camera Left)
  5. Camera Front Right (Change view to forward facing camera Right)
  6. Gatling Gun (Switches Weapons to 12 Gatling guns)
  7. Rocket launcher (Switches Weapons to 4 Rocket launchers)
  8. -empty button-
  9. Thrusters all (Turns on all Thrusters)
Hotbar 2
  1. Gears (Switches the look on the landing gear.)
  2. Gears (Switches auto look on or off the on the landing gear.)
  3. Spotlight Front (Turns the front facing spotlight on/off)
  4. Camera back (Change view to the back facing camera near the connector. use for landing)
  5. Spotlight Back (Turns the back facing spotlight on/off)
  6. Connector Back (Switches the look on the back facing connector.)
  7. -empty button-
  8. Markings ON/OFF (Turns all external Screens and lights on or off)
  9. Flight ready timer Block (hit when docked. sets bateries to reacharge. Tanks to stockpile, turns of all Thursters, turns of reactors hydrogen engien and H2/O2 Generators, shuts of lights and antenna.)
Hotbar 3
  1. Thrusters Forward (Increases manual thrust override. Keep accelerating without pressing "W")
  2. Thrusters Forward (Decreases manual thrust override.)
  3. -empty button-
  4. Thrusters all on (Turns on all thrusters)
  5. Thrusters all off (Turns off all thrusters)
  6. -empty button-
  7. O2/H2 Generators ON/OFF (Turns on or off the 9 O2/H2 Generators)
  8. -empty button-
  9. Batteries Recharge ON/OFF (Turns the Batteries to recharge)
Hotbar 4
  1. Reactors ON/OFF (Turns all Reactors on or off)
  2. Projector ON/OFF (Turns the Projector on or off. use for quick repair)
  3. Decoy Rotors Add Rotor Head (Adds rotor heads to the decoy rotors to rebuilt decoys make sure the Rotor Decoy Groups 2,3&4 are off when rearming the decoys.)
  4. Turrets (Turns all Turrets ON or OFF.)

wow thanks again lyricalprimeboy i glad you have fun with my Blueprints :) i did not feel pressure from you :) just a headsup that i will publish stuff but will take time. hope you have fun and let me know of any other suggestions ideas or problem :)

Also, I just wanted to say how cool your stuff is. I've had this game since launch, but only got back into it a few months ago (as i just got my first pc in July and nothing else I had would run it lol). I don't mean to pressure you at all, and I know that whatever you make will be cool. I literally just got done spending 3 days building the speedy by hand. I love your stuff!

To be clear, when I mentioned docking the large ships, I ment more like they would be outside and you would more or less pull up beside them. I know the Hangar doors are small lol.

on a more serious note a few post back their were talk about a new large ship ... i would love to see your take on these class of ship too

-Corvette small, fast, agile, aggressif,no hangar "all enviroment"

-Frigate = Agility (check)

-Destroyer= Medium-small,tad fast, missile orriented, with hangar "low grav enviroment"

-Cruiser = Medium, very well arm, with hangar 2low grav enviroment"

-Battleship = Slow, High Deffence and offence, hangar for handfull of craft, "space only"

Dreadnought = very slow, overkill on offence and defence( must have about 72x turrets minimum on each side, 3x heavy block thick armor all around), few hangar "space only"

-carrier very slow but fast jump capable ( 2 set of jump drive both full power 1 set power up 1 set poewr down, so jump in drop all fighters then jump out) mostly defensif turret and thick armor, very large hangar) "space only)

will make test about the 2 set jumpdrive

happend to me to one time ;) the funny thing was that only the bottem of the Katana was destroyed. i was roling around on the ground until i saw the back thrusters where still functional. i rotated the back to the ground and flew back to base on them. :)

yes and mass is to ^^ i dont know the altitued when he tryed to break but even the parachutes could not have stoped him 50 m from the ground ^^

Funny thing that happen on creative. I was with my brother-in-law to practice with the modified of the Gladius fighting large enemy ship from npc mod “air trafic”.We were successful at taking the guns and thruster down. So once that happen I started to slowed down and level my fighter. But my brother-in-law kept on shooting and following it as it goes down till the falling ship crash in the ground, but unfortunately my bro was still nosediving to keep maximum guns on it... he learns that was a big mistake as he crash head first in the ground.... gravity is a bi*** ...
