Intuitive GUI Colors

Description
Please remember to if you enjoy the mod!
Mod Description

This is a visual mod that makes the graphical user interface of Endless Space 2 more intuitive. This is done by changing the colors of various labels and/or icons within the game. Full list of changes:
  • Colonizable vs. non-colonizable planets.
  • Overpopulation indicators on planets .
  • Positive vs. negative population growth indicator/text.

Mod Reasoning
Icon or label colors are frequently unintuitive. For example, the color of the label indicating a planet is colonizable is exactly the same as the color indicating it is not colonizable. This is frustrating to experience as the player, the game refuses to give you visual cues for many things that could really use them.
If you have any suggestions or improvements for the mod, or if you have played with the mod and just have some feedback, please do not hesitate to leave a comment.
Compatibility
This is an Extension mod and thus should not have direct compatibilty issues with other mods.

does this mod still work with the game, if so can I incorporate into my mod I am working on?

Hey! Great mod! It's one of the very few mods dealing with the horrible UI of the game. Are there more recommended ones out there?

Could you put the roman numerals of the technological stage on pictograms system improvements?

Seems like a definite good mod. I'm amazed I've never found out about it, first.

Gotta try it! :D

As a new player to ES, this looks really promising, thanks in advance! I'm struggling with the UI.
Can I ask: Is this save-game compatible? I mean, can I restart ES2 with this mod enabled and continue from a previous save game?
Sorry I have never played with mods before in ES.
One thing I hate about current UI is that when saving, I cannot just type in a name of a save game and hit enter, I must first somehow CLICK with my mouse cursor the line of text describing my save game so that is highlighted and only THEN can I save the game. This is so frustrating! Could you enhance your mod to work around this?
thanks much in advance

@Verminator and everyone else thank you for your kind words, I am really glad you are enjoying the mod :)

This is one of those mods that should have been in the game. It's so simple, intuitive, and just seems to belong so much, that you don't even notice it.....until you start a game without it.

Yeah, this is always in my mod list, but somehow I missed checking the box and now I've gotten the best starting position ever, and I don't have this mod enabled. LOL And man, do I miss it. You really notice how much it helps, when it's not enabled. The game is really lacking without this mod. It really should be an essential mod for anyone playing ES2. Great Mod! Thanks so much, Fadingwhite.
