Description

Hey all ! [a.iO]

Here you can find a US looking or US inspired roads.
Something for all the US builders among us, or those who´d like to build an american inspired city. ;)

  • now with Adaptive Network Mod (by Kian Zarrin) support
  • deactivation of Props/certain Models possible
  • added red bike lanes + bike lanes dc. Nodes
  • this network will still work without AN !

  • non standard width of 20 meter
  • grd - version (/all)
  • elvtd - version (/all)
  • two drive lanes
  • two parking lanes (one between bike- and pedestrian lane)
  • two protected bike lanes only on one side of the road
  • bus stops on grd segment and only on one side of the elevated segment
    (side without bike lanes)
  • direction can not be changed via right click

"Issues"

This one isn´t really an issue, but it´s a choice I took, because of the
unchangeable game mechanics. This could be solved differently, but it
would involve the usage of the TmPE Mod. Not everybody is using this Mod.´, therfore
I came up with this "construct".

The bus stop on the side with the bike lanes will be placed on the parking lanes.
I really like that design and will do that more often with other roads.
Due to the fact, that "lanes" can not be deactivated by flags, I´ve only created
the stop segment.
Therefore I highly suggest to place bus stops only on single segments. Otherwise
the parking lane (before or behind of the stop) the will stay as parking lane and yours
cims will float through the cars. (Seen on the picture, right down)

Also its not possible to change the direction of the road via right click. You have
to lay down the road in the direction you want to have it.

  • Traffic Lights
  • Bus and Tram Shelters
  • Decals Pack
  • Road Arrows
  • Tram and Bus Signs by Pewex

All the roads will work without any of these dependencies.

I created all the packs to detail my roads for an "easy, all in one" using
solution. With Adaptive Networks, all Props can be deactivated.

As always ;)

Loading Screen Mod - created by thale5, fixed and updated by Klyte45 and
now maintained and improved by algernon.

  • almost all (currently) available US road networks use the same texture set

I´ll add them when they are back ... ;)

If you like this addition to the workshop... and you want more,
you could give it a thumbs up. :) That would be very much appreciated !!! :)

Change notes for nosey people like myself?
clus  [author] 3 Apr, 2022 @ 11:11pm
Hi. Nope ... unfortunately that's not possible, because the parking lanes are narrower than the drive lanes. In order to put 4 lanes in to the current layout, you'd need to take space away from the walkways, which would make them to narrow... :/

Hey there! I really dig this asset. I'd like to know, though, if it would be possible to make a version of it with one more lane on each side (four total) instead of parking spaces? Width wise, it'd remain the same, though I'm not sure how feasible it is.

Amazing work!! Would it possible to do a version of this road with Tram tracks on it? That'd be so clutch!
