Description
Workhorse Industries presents a new ship in the taskmaster series, The Taskmaster Lite. Dropping the mining module to save weight and space, the TML is more compact and designed for welding and grinding in planetary environments.

It comes with 3 Medium Cargo Containers and is fitted with one welder and one grinder mounted on a Hinge that allows the tools to be swapped out. Like many other WHI ships it comes with "Automatic LCD's 2" pre-installed.

It can carry a full load of materials in all cargo containers plus the Connector, however loading materials into the welder and grinder may cause it to exceed maximum weight limits.

A ReadMe file is located by the cockpit and should provide all the information needed for setting things up after projector based construction.

-- Tutorial to build the tool is in the video above, starts at the 3:05 mark. --

Edit: The Transparent LCD have been removed and replaced with other regular LCD's. Can't seem to uncheck the DLC requirement however as it just gives me an error when unchecking the box.

G'day, a long time fan of WHI , love ya work, I definately would not have picked this as a WHI production by looks alone. However, the new look is eye catching and the weilder/grinder rotor thing had me intrigued at first and now back in the fan club. A great looking build that seems to get the job down and well at that. Thanks for putting it on the board. Cheers mate.

nicely done however for the welder/grinder piece make it a seperate Bleuprint from it so whe can still try to make it via Projector

I've skipped past this so many times, despite using your heavy miner and truck religiously, but finally took her out for a whirl.... What a great little ship! Kudos sir!

Well, the last patch should have fixed subgrid dampening. It has always been a bit of an issue.

On the other hand, the sensor ranges all seem too short, no idea if that was a patch that broke it or what. Set front range to 0.3 on the bottom and 0.6 on top.

@BuggsWorth
That is odd. I tried pasting it into a new world but there is no issues with it on my end. Only time it starts to drop is if I put a thruster on the tools pod but it stops again if I remove the thruster.

I can only guess that subgrids possibly act differently on different computers and specs. =S

For some reason the ship starts sinking, i pasted it into creative and it does the same thing. How do i fix this?
AysaMetric 11 Jul, 2020 @ 3:26pm
yeah, figured out the issue. The server disables timer blocks every so often, so they weren't on to trigger. It's quite a useful design now that it's working. Is there an exo-atmospheric variant?
FunkyBacon  [author] 11 Jul, 2020 @ 10:47am
is the TB set to "trigger", and is that block set to trigger the "TB Trigger Weld/Grind" blocks?
AysaMetric 11 Jul, 2020 @ 10:04am
Tools won't activate when using the timer block on the toolbar. Went through all TB's, all set up properly.

How do we build the tool arm after projector-based construction?
