Midwestern Prewar Pack - Double-Wide Lot

Description
Live the high life from nigh-on a century ago!

A throwback to simpler times. Including updates novel to the modern era - indoor plumbing, refrigeration, heating systems, and driveway space for your new Model T!

Description

A set of 3 incredibly common house types found throughout the United States (particularly the Midwest/Great Lakes and adjacent regions - Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Pennsylvania, Maryland, New York, West Virginia, Kentucky, etc), built primarily between the turn of the 20th century and the Interwar Period (maybe 1890-1939).

This set features them in a 2x2 lot with a porch pathway and driveway, along with other decorations. The bungalow is also about 10% bigger to fill the lot out more. The sister set uses a 1x2 lot with no porch walks and driveways for more customization.

Recommended Assets

Several Pdelmo assests (Regular Bush tiny, green), Beardmonkey assets (Wooden Fence 01 4m & 8m), SKF assets (concrete theme decals and driveways), a DethKwok asst (4m Driveway) and vanilla assets (benches, ac, pipes, etc) were used to decorate the lots, but not having these other assets will do no harm.

I should also note that many of my assets share textures, so if you have Loading Screen Mod, you'll see some decent load time savings.

@dudemeister Just discovered your work and these look great. I have a huge collection of turn of the century assets that I always use to start cities and have them grow more "organically" (adding more modern stuff later). Looking forward to including these assets in my collections. Thanks.

@ Mike: re missing Americana pack ... if you've got some cities that are messed up, this might help: https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2113169711

Awesome! Seriously looking forward to the 50s/60s ranch houses and the 1950s commercial! Everything you've got planned sounds great for the early-to-mid 1900s theme I build my cities in.

Much appreciation to all, loving the feedback! Think I accidentally deleted a comment or two; I apologize profusely there seems to be no way to restore them : (

To answer some of the comments: THANK YOU!! I do take some requests, but it may take forever to finish lol. Victorian era mansions are high on the priority list, we have a big dearth on the workshop. Next post should go up this weekend; it's the second-last Pittsburgh home set. May or may not include a Hulley house :steammocking: Then, a big undertaking: 1950s-60s era Levittown style ranches!

Down the pipeline are two final Pittsburgh rowhouses, some 1800s mansions, Chicago/Milwaukee/Ohio style immigrant duplexes, early 1900s 45-degree corner commercial buildings, '50s era roadside commercial, & one or two Modern English homes from the 1920s : )

Let me know of any questions or suggestions! Prost!!

Amazing! With the recent loss of the Americana pack, this fills the hole it left perfectly.

Beautifully modeled homes, well done, thanks for uploading!

People made all these amazing things while I was taking a break. Finally houses that look like (my) home. :)
