How on Earth does the Scavengers Market work exactly?!? Is it just random chance? Nope. In fact, all of it is scripted and items will only become available as the game progresses... So, what exactly can we get?

Abstract
The Scavengers Market is XCOM: Chimera Squad's new passageway to getting Unique and Powerful items - at the expense of Intel. In this iteration, items unlock at the Scavengers Market unlock not only by the Investigations Completed, but are locked by random selection categories. Here are all the different items and their interactions with the Scavenger's Market.

The game uses the word "ACT" to describe how far in you are. You progress to the next ACT when you complete an investigation. So you begin in ACT 1, and progress to ACT 2 and ACT 3 as you play the game.
Act 1: First Investigation
In Act 1, the game pulls Scavenger Market Listings from 2 groups, with different intel costs associated, to make 3 items appear in the shop.

Group 1 (Intel Cost: 35-55) 2 Items Spawn:
  • Advanced Laser Sight (+10% Crit)
  • Advanced Scope (+10% Aim)
  • Advanced Extended Magazine (+2 Ammo)
  • Advanced Stock (+2 Miss Damage)
  • Targeting System (Apply +15 Aim at Target)
  • Small Elerium Cache (50 Elerium)
  • Frag Grenade

Group 2 (Intel Cost: 70-90) 1 Items Spawn:
  • Superior Laser Sight (+15% Crit)
  • Superior Scope (+15% Aim)
  • Superior Extended Magazine (+3 Ammo)
  • Superior Stock (+3 Miss Damage)
  • Hair Trigger (10% Shot won't take Action)
  • Basic Impact Frame (+2 Subdue Damage)
  • Reflex Grip (Shooting doesn't End Turn)
  • AP Rounds (Ignore Armor for 5 Points of Damage)
  • Plasma Grenade
  • Plated Vest (+1 Armor)
  • Motile Inducer (2 AP Immediately)
Act 2: Second Investigation
In Act 2, the game pulls Scavenger Market Listings from 2 groups, with different intel costs associated, to make 3 items appear in the shop.

Group 1 (Intel Cost: 70-90) 1 Item Spawn:
  • Advanced Laser Sight (+10% Crit)
  • Advanced Scope (+10% Aim)
  • Advanced Extended Magazine (+2 Ammo)
  • Advanced Auto Loader (2 Free Reloads)
  • Advanced Stock (+2 Miss Damage)
  • Targeting System (Apply +15 Aim at Target)
  • Medium Elerium Cache (75 Elerium)
  • Frag Grenade

Group 2 (Intel Cost: 90-130) 2 Items Spawn:
  • Superior Laser Sight (+15% Crit)
  • Superior Scope (+15% Aim)
  • Superior Extended Magazine (+3 Ammo)
  • Superior Stock (+3 Miss Damage)
  • Hair Trigger (10% Shot won't take Action)
  • Basic Impact Frame (+2 Subdue Damage)
  • Reflex Grip (Shooting doesn't End Turn)
  • AP Rounds (Ignore Armor for 5 Points of Damage)
  • Plasma Grenade
  • Plated Vest (+1 Armor)
  • Motile Inducer (2 AP Immediately)
  • And All Epic Weapons...
Act 3: Third Investigation
In Act 3, the game pulls Scavenger Market Listings from a single list

Group 1 (Intel Cost: 70-90) 3 Items Spawn:
  • Superior Laser Sight (+15% Crit)
  • Superior Scope (+15% Aim)
  • Superior Extended Magazine (+3 Ammo)
  • Superior Stock (+3 Miss Damage)
  • Hair Trigger (10% Shot won't take Action)
  • Basic Impact Frame (+2 Subdue Damage)
  • Reflex Grip (Shooting doesn't End Turn)
  • AP Rounds (Ignore Armor for 5 Points of Damage)
  • Plasma Grenade
  • Plated Vest (+1 Armor)

That feel when I got a Plasma Grenade and a Motile Inducer in Act 1 and have kept them equipped 100% of the game since.

Jeeze, I never even bother unlocking until usually the second act once I have all of the teams set up in each zone... no wonder I don't have the 20 unique items from there yet. Thank you for this guide! I can knock out those last few achievements now!

Basic Free Fire is Hair Trigger. 10% chance standard shot is a free action. Aid Beacon is the Motile Inducer. Gives the target agent 2 AP to use immediately.
