Roster Size Workaround + Base Agents Gain XP

Description
Enables you to get more than 8 people on your roster.

This mod accomplishes that via a hook on OnPreMission that checks if you've hit the vanilla roster limit, which you should by the time you start the second investigation.

After that, by default it will let you get one more recruitment opportunity three times before it stops. You can change this via editing the mod's XComGame.ini.

To pace this out, this is set up so it's every three missions after you hit the initial limit: this way you don't get everyobdy in a sudden rush, but get time to pace it out.

But this still leaves the problem of actually earning XP for units, especially with as stacked as Chimera Squad is in having you focus on the one A-team. To compensate for this, the mod will also grant mission XP to all units not on a mission every time you finish a mission. This will help low level agents rank up relatively fast so they have a few abilities available, and make it easier to gain their later ranks since they'll already have some progress made.

These features are adjustable in the mod's XComGameData.ini. If you just want the Base Agents Gain XP part, set AdditionalUnits to 0 in the XComGame.ini mentioned before.

Alternatively, you can go to the mod folder (this is in a path like steamapps\workshop\content\882100\2073317720), and go to the mod's XComGameData.ini to alter values like how much XP on-base agents get.

Known Issues
The vanilla UI doesn't expect more than 8 total available agents, so some things get way harder to assign.

Using the Xcom Alternative Mod launcher to run this. It makes the game so much nicer to play, and lets me switch between my cast of fun characters without worrying about being under leveled. I love it!

Is there a way to get it to allow more than 11 agents? I have the mod that adds Julian Shen.

I had the same issue as Warden Harry Dresden noted below. Any fixes?

I have a bug where the game won't let me continue to a new mission because it days I have a squad selection, but when I click the notification to choose a member, it only open the Armory. I had originally set the XComGame.ini "AdditionalUnits" value high because I didn't know how many agents there were. I have set it back to 3 and loaded the save for the last turn in the mission before I was the agent selection option, but it still gives me that choice.

I reset the AdditionalUnits value back to 3 and still got the same message. I even installed the "New Agent: Julian Shen" mod, (https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2073095846) , and set the https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2073095846 value to 4, then reloaded back to the last mission, and I still don't have an option to select a new agent.

Help! I hope I didn't just bork my whole save...

I'm looking forward to using this once I've completed my current playthrough.

Can this allow to get more than 11 agents if i get more with other mods?

Just a heads up, this does seem to prevent the "all agents at max level" achievement as it doesn't trigger when you have 8 maxed out with this mod active.

Thanks for the mod! Is there any way to edit files so we can have all members in one go? Barring that, getting a squad member after every mission would be fine too.
