WsF' Vampire Bloodlines: The Strigoi - SFO

Description
A patch to adjust Whysofurious's Vampire Bloodlines: The Strigoi for SFO.

The start is still fairly hard, no corruption, surrounded by angry and untainting Bretonnians, Dwarfs, Tomb Kings and Greenskins. (Ironically, the greenskins are the less hostile ones). You start with 2 settlements and in full control of your province, but it is a marsh so you'll move very slowly.

Notable Design Changes:
  • Strigoi Host/Mob were simply better Crypt Horrors in the base mod. But since Blood Knights/Dragons are missing for this faction and how strong vampire units are in SFO, I've buffed them so they sort-of fill the same niche Blood Dragons/knights did.
    • They are fewer, stronger, have high substain and more are expensive.
    • Glass cannons, will melt against anti-large without support.
    • They both have Strong Vigor, The Hunger and Disciplined.
    • They now require the Vampire Crypts building and follow SFO's cap for Blood Dragons.
  • The Mourkhain Guardians are now stronger but have fewer models. Gave them Charge Defence Against All but very low charge bonus. They also follow SFO's cap and are now tied to Grave Guards/Vojnuk modifiers. Moved to Morgheim from Galbaraz.
  • Gave Wagons SFO's Munitions ability and the Bolstered Leadership aura.
  • Uncapped the Vojnuk Spearmen but they now require the smith building.
  • The Strigany Domnu follow SFO's cap.
  • Gave Kazarkhan lords SFO's Bolstered Command aura and bleeding. They are strong melee fighters, as VC lords in SFO are supposed to be some of the strongest and are all casters, but this one has no spells.
  • Gave the Mystic hero SFO's Wizard skill line and a mix of the necromancer and empire wizard skill lines.
  • Made the results of the Border Prince/Settlement sacking and the Arkham/Tomb king dilemmas last forever.
  • Replaced the Vojnuks from Nanosh tier 5 horde building with a Necrofex Colossus, because vojnuks require the smith building so they cannot be recruited in a horde to begin with. It shares the mortis engine cap/skills/techs. With SFO's cap and no global recruitment, they should still be very limited.
  • Gave the Strigoi Empire the underway stance, they badly need a way to move in and out of the swamp and roaming in underground caverns fit them.
  • New Technology: The Beast Within. It give all Strigoi units the Primal Instinct ability.
    • Trigger at low health while near enemies, it increase their melee attack and speed, but lower their melee defence and cause rampage.
    • Since it's a technology, it is optional as I know a lot of people hate rampage, but it is there for those who want the flavor.
  • And many more smaller changes to bring the units closer to their SFO equivalent.

Be careful to use this mod only in Mortal Empires campaign as not all features applies to Vortex Campaign.

You will need a full unlocker like Mixu's Unlocker + Unlocker Unlocked to play this faction.

hello in fact ovn touches 1 of both settlements. The fimir factions own the floating village , and morgehim are own by strygos empire. so i guess it will conflict with fimir empire

It worked when I tested it 2 years ago? I cannot say for today. If OvN doesn't touch the 2 settlement in the marsh it'll be fine I guess? Don't quote me on that.

It is updated, you need all 3 of the required mods too, make sure to unsub-resub in case it failed to download the update, it happens fairly often.

Not sure if load order can screw it up, but it work in default load order.

Unfortunately I do not play total war warhammer right now, would be awkward to make a patch and increase my "maintenance workload" in this situation.

Can you make a sfo submod for Ordo draconis?The other is too weak and hasn't been updated for a long time...

As far I remember he was in the middle of his PhD thesis, so he has no time to mod, I hope he is well!
