The Planetbuilders

Description
The Planetbuilders - 3.4.*

“Many men of course became extremely rich, but this was perfectly natural and nothing to be ashamed of because no one was really poor - at least no one worth speaking of. And for all the richest and most successful merchants life inevitably became rather dull and niggly, and they began to imagine that this was therefore the fault of the worlds they'd settled on. None of them was entirely satisfactory: either the climate wasn't quite right in the later part of the afternoon, or the day was half an hour too long, or the sea was exactly the wrong shade of pink.

And thus were created the conditions for a staggering new form of specialist industry: custom-made luxury planet building. The home of this industry was the planet Magrathea, where hyperspatial engineers sucked matter through white holes in space to form it into dream planets – gold planets, platinum planets, soft rubber planets with lots of earthquakes, all lovingly made to meet the exacting standards that the Galaxy's richest men naturally came to expect.”
– Douglas Adams, Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy

This mod introduces the planetbuilders – a new enclave that will appear during the late midgame. As the name suggests, they can build entirely new planets for your empire – for a price of course. You can choose location, size, planetclass (including some special, really silly ones I came up with for fun), add random modifiers and put primitives or pre-sapients on them! Every step costs energycredits, but if you can’t afford it right now, you can delay your payment and continue once you have the money. Also comes with intergrated compatability for guillis planetmodifiers and planetary diversity. You can install this mod on any running game, the planetbuilders will spawn once an empire is wealthy enough to afford their services.

If you find any bugs or spelling mistakes, let me know in the comments! Any feedback is appreciated. Just remember to be civil about it.

So, there's an issue with this mod when trying to use it to purchase uninhabitable planets. You can set any size you want and pay for it, but your chosen size never gets applied. And somehow, when trying to fix this, I created one hell of a bug that transcends time and space. I'm getting a blank event popup. No title, no description, just the box that lets me press "ok". Which if I press it, it just comes right back up. according to the debug tooltips. It says "planet_builders.104" is the event when I hover on "ok". I have tried replacing the file I edited with a clean copy, I've tried deleting and reinstalling the mod, I've done all that while loading a save file from before I ever changed the file, and it STILL somehow broke. (This is with me playing on version 3.4.5 so I don't think it's an issue with the mod being out of date)

Is it usable on 3.6 or needs to be update for it?

Would you be able to make this independent of the planet builder enclave?

I have a situation with planetbuilders not spawning. Have a debugtool so its not a problem. My empire starts with 5k+ energy income and rarely goes below, playthroughs generally last only 100 years. If you will have an idea what to try for me to reproduce it ill test stuff around.TY for the mod :3

@Awindai they appear at a random date once an empire reaches more than 1000 energy income or a 30.000 Stockpile. You can also just spawn them with the debugtool (a decision called "smitheis mods Debugmenu")

Hello! Is there a way to make the planetbuilders appear if I want to install this mod on a late save?

Love the mod, but there's a graphical issue with golden planets. The UVs has a visible seam and the normal/bump map has broken as seen in the screenshot below
