Description
This mod adds dinos from the Genesis simulation to other official maps, and unlocks Genesis engrams on all ARKs.

Features
  • Engrams added with Genesis: Part 1 update can be unlocked on any map.
  • Tekgrams added with Genesis: Part 1 update are unlocked automatically by default.
  • Dinos added with Genesis: Part 1 update now spawn on maps that use vanilla spawning group containers. Also being added is support for X variants in the following mods:
    - No Untameables
    - Ark Additions
    - Mystic Menagerie
    - Ark: Project Anomaly
  • Nests and Eggs via a mechanic native to Magmasaurs: when nearby one of the predefined spots, Magmasaurs will spawn eggs (and a nest if necessary).
  • Get Ambergris from Astrocetus or by mining oil rocks (Mining Drill works best).
  • Wild Astrocetus are visible on any map.

FAQ
  • I don't see any dinos: If this is an existing save file, you may need to control the population of other dinos in an area or the game won't spawn any more dinos. As an option other than massive virtual dino-genocide, you can try using DestroyWildDinos cheat.
  • Is the DLC needed: No, it's not.
  • Magmasaurs don't lay eggs: After a couple of them spawns, leave the area so they can enter stasis. Return to the area after some time (83 minutes?) and a nest will probably have spawned, with an egg.
  • What are the spawn codes for creatures: Only wild Magmasaurs are modified to include some fixes, their class names are given in the Configuration thread. For others, check the spawning codes on the Official ARK Wiki[ark.wiki.gg] hosted on Wiki.gg. Every other dino, including tame Magmasaurs, is vanilla
  • X-Creatures don't seem as powerful as on Genesis: That's right. They utilize map-wide multipliers with an opt-in mechanism, and those multipliers aren't set on other maps.
  • No Magmasaurs on The Island: You'll need to enable the custom spawners settings; check the configuration thread for that. This is unfortunately required as there is no way to target the volcano only.
  • What do you mean by Astrocetus being "visible" again: In vanilla game the whales are only sent to players on dedicated servers if the players have an area buff from Genesis 1's Lunar Biome.
  • I found a bug: I'd prefer if you'd create a thread in Discussions rather than write a comment, as it allows for a more organized way to track the problem.
